Caroline's Possessive Mate!

Chapter 19

The drive was long, but definitely not long enough. Leo told me stories of his mother and father.He told me about his younger brother, and how his brother was closer to him than anyone else from his pack. It was warming to hear Leo talk about his family, out of everything me and Leo talk about his family never comes up. I wanted to know more about the family, pack, that I was getting ready to intrude. But all too soon we pull up to a paved road surrounded by a forest. Leo pulls off onto the road and soon enough I see a huge house that is certainly a packs home. The house looked more like a mansion. It was made out of a white stone, and had such huge windows that the house itself looked like it was made of glass. There was a beautiful fountain placed in-front surrounded by numerous flowers. I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the house, it was like nothing I had ever seen before. But not even the beauty of the house could take away the absolute fear I had of meeting Leo's parents.

"Caroline, calm down. I promise they will love you. You are absolutely perfect and beautiful, there is no way they couldn't love you. Just be yourself and you will be fine." Leo's voice was soft and soothing. Taking deep breaths I attempt to calm myself down. Leo parks right affront of the entrance to the house and hops out of the car. When Leo opened my door I slowly got out of the car and placed my hand in Leo's.

"Leo, what if they honestly don't like me. What if I say the wrong thing and I screw up everything for you?" Leo instantly takes my face between his huge hands and forces me to meet his eyes.

"Baby, I love you. We were made for each other, you're my mate. My parents, my whole pack, they will instantly see how in love I am with you and they will love you too. When we walk through those doors they will be waiting to meet you, and I promise you will see that you belong here, with me." I nod in agreement with Leo and let him lead me up the steps to the front door.

Leo first goes through the door and I follow. Two people stand affront of a huge staircase, a woman and a man. The Woman is beautiful with long wavy brown hair and big brown eyes too match. The man looked stern, he was tall, with dark brown short hair, and dark blue eyes.

"Hello, I'm Tanya, Leo's Mother. You must be Caroline." She walked to me and embraced me in a tight hug. I let Leo's hand go and awkwardly hug her back. She pulled back from me, as if to take a good look at me. "You are absolutely beautiful." I feel my cheeks burn bright red from the compliment.

"Thank you, It's so nice to meet you." She finally lets me go and the man approaches me with a hand extended towards me.

"Hello, I'm Jasper. Leo's father and the alpha. It's nice to finally meet you Caroline." He shakes my hand softly and gives me a quick smile.

"It's nice to meet you to Mr.Wilmore." I quickly smile. I feel Leo's hand reaching for mine and I wrap my fingers with his.

"Where's the rest of the pack? I want to introduce Caroline as their new Luna." Leo's voice is stern and I wonder why he's being so distant with his own parents.

"They are all in the ballroom setting up a welcoming party for her, you can go on ahead, they are all waiting for her." Tanya turns toward a long hallway, and we all proceed to follow. She leads us towards a room with double doors. You could hear the sound of talking and music from outside. Leo pushes his way to the door and loudly opens it. Instantly the room goes silent and all eyes are on us. There must have been 200 people in the big ball room, all sitting silently waiting for Leo to say something. He pulls me to the front of the room onto a small stage and steps up to the mic.

"Hello fellow pack members I am here to announce some great news. I am finally coming home to stay and take the role of your full Alpha, and with me I have brought a Luna. Meet my mate Caroline." Quickly the room starts standing and clapping. I'm overwhelmed with the packs response, I would have never thought they would be so happy to have a new Luna, most packs don't like change.

Leo continues to tell them a few details about me and then lets them return to their party. The only problem with this is I am now the center of attention for over 200 people, and the party has just now began.

Now that it is summer I will have alot more time to write, and hopefully can upload at least one chapter a week! Please vote and comment!
