It waits. I wait. The pig still squealing in pain. I throw rocks one to the left one to the right and straight ahead. Thunk. Thunk. Grrr. Oh no. Why does it have to end like this. I grab my dagger and pray that I will make it out alive. A minute goes by in silence and stillness. Then I manage to catch a glimpse of it. The odds don't look great. That thing is 3 times my size. Suddenly it pounces and I duck, barely being missed by the massive paws. I sprint into the center of the clearing, running the way the beast came from, leaving the pig in the dust. There is no way that I can outrun this thing. I'm gonna die. It's gaining on me.
I veer to the side to get my dagger in position. This thing is covering ground the size of small cars in one bound. I stand stiff. It launches at me and throws me to the ground. The blood is already spilling from my body. My dagger landed a few feet away. Well that's great, I think to myself.
It's sprinting towards me and I crawl to my dagger. Wincing in pain I lunge for my dagger as the beast leaps into the air. I grab my dagger right on impact and my head slams on the ground. The beast is already coming in for the kill. As it lunges in I stab my dagger into its shoulder. The beast growls with pain, the dagger making it unable to walk. It grabs the dagger with its mouth and pulls it out of its shoulder. My distraction plan didn't work. My face is caked in blood, and I'm barely conscious. Just as the beast is lining up another shot, I hear a some noise not coming from it. I can't seem to make it out. The animal stops in its tracks. Then everything went black.Hey I'm sorry I haven't updated in forever. I have been really busy lately. Thanks for sticking with me :) I will have some more done soon. -Lizzy_muenzen_8799
