I couldn't believe that all of this had happened just because I came to the island! Everyone was staring at me to make a response. I cleared my throat.

"I ummm... uh, thank you!" Oh my gosh you idiot! I thought.

"Hello my dearest granddaughter!" Grandma said as she came in for a hug. P.S, I DON'T LIKE HUGS!

"I'm your only granddaughter, grandma." I rolled my eyes.

She released me from her tight hug.
"That doesn't matter" she joked. "Anyways, let's get you to your new home!"

We walked down to the beach. The white sand was the smoothest thing you could ever imagine! Lots of it got into my sneakers as we trekked along. The water was a beautiful crystal blue water with long pretty fish swimming without a care. The view was spectacular.
