Chapter Ten || How unaware were you?!

I felt alone, as I rubbed my eyes from a long sleep.

I pushed myself up, sitting as I watched a figure standing by the window. I carefully walked over to the figure.

"Hey," I wrapped my arms around his waist, sliding my fingers together.

"Hey," Luke looked down at me with his blue eyes.

"So what's up?" I asked him, as I cuddled him lightly.

"Not much, just thinking." Luke paused to think, "How are you feeling this morning?"

"I am fine," I stared at his facial expressions. "Can I ask you something?" I stepped moving back from his body.

"Yea," Luke was biting the corner of his lip.

"How unaware were you last night?" I felt the pressure on my bottom lip.

"A lot, why? What did I say?" Luke face turned to an surprise expression, as he raised his hands a bit.

"Nothing important, it was just a question, you were sleep talking." I sighed looking away.

"You know you can tell me, anything." Luke touched my shoulder.

"I-I, it's a touchy subject." I muttered lightly, as I moved myself closer to the window. Michael was right, it was like being on top of the world, and a never ending skyline, that goes on and on reaching no end.

"Eh, well I am sorry it is." Luke's voice was lower, as if he didn't really want to know but as if he did.

I stood there in silent, I noticed Luke moved around, but then only to come back to that one spot.

"You know, from up here it seems like we're on top of the world, untouchable from everything below," I finally spoke breaking the silent.

"Like the skyline runs on and on, like its never ending?" Luke spoke after that, as he walked over closer to me, staring at the world.

"Yea, but I am glad it's with you." My blank expression started into a grin.

"Are you now?" Luke smiled shaking his head.

"Yeah, still wanting to know what you asked last night?" I paused to think about, but the pressure was too much.

"Yea, kind of." Luke walked closer to me.

"You asked how long have you loved me?" I paused staring at his expressions.

"Well then how long?" Luke stared at me with his bright blue eyes.

I took a deep breath before answering,

"A long time," I sighed shaking my head, not knowing what he was going to say.

"Kat," Luke spoke softly as my head was pointed to the floor, my head slowly looked up.

I felt him get closer, then his arms wrapping around me, he was leaning into me, closer than both of us dared to before. I closer my eyes, as I felt the connection, with his perfect lips. He softly placed his lips on mine, he was so gentle and calming, I still felt my heart race.

"Um?" I pulled away, breaking Luke away from my lips. I noticed Luke's face go red, it was so cute when he blushed. "Luke Hemmings what are you doing?" I chuckled at him.

"N-nothing," Luke shuttered, as I stared at him in disbelieve.

"A little more than nothing Luke Hemmings." I giggled, "I didn't know you liked me back." I stared into his blue eyes.

"Well," I sighed as I walked over to bed, as I sat down in the middle.

"That was a little harsh." Luke frowned at me, as I smirked at him.

Luke started coming over to me.

As I pulled out my phone, then clicking to Twitter.

Luke came over, grabbing my waist. And picking me up, throwing me over his right shoulder.

"Hey!" I laughed as he put me down, laying me on my back on the bed, as he was on the top.

"Hey what?" Luke smiled lightly at me.

"Nothing," I touched his right cheek.

"Oh really nothing?" Luke leaned again for a kiss, as I pulled my head away. "Hey!" Luke chuckled shaking his head.

"What?" I reached for his neck, pulling him into me; face to face.

"Not yet." I sighed as I rolled his body beside me.

"Oh sorry, fine. Just to let you know, I cared about you the first day we met." Luke smiled at me, as then we stared at the roof.
