Running Lines

            

TIME SKIP!!!!

My phone goes off with my ringtone I have set for Cam, Suddenly Seymour. I pick it up and answer it.

"What do you want."

"HEEEEEEY JORDYYYYYYY," he says all friendly like.

"No, I am not coming to rescue you because Josh is singing again. Anything else?"

"That wasn't what I was going to say, but he is singing. Will you come over to help me run lines for my audition in 3 weeks?"

"Yeah, fine. I'll be over in an hour."

"Can't you come over any quicker?"

"I haven't showered in three days, you don't want me over without a shower." I say with a laugh.

"Fine... but hurry up. I miss you." Cam says dejectedly

"I saw you yesterday!" I say as I hang up

I jump in the shower and then get dressed. I put on my nerd sweater and some leggings. My hair is pulled up into two buns and I pull on my red converse.

"Mom! I'm going to Cam's"

"OKAY! BE BACK BEFORE CERFEW!

I grab my bike and run out the door. I start the 8 minute ride to 54th. Once I get to their house I am greeted by Cam who opens the door as soon as I walk up. He pulls me into a bear hug and proceeds to say he hasn't seen me in forever.

"Cam, I saw you last week."

"That's too long!!!!!" He says loudly. "Come on we are going to run lines!"

He drags me into their main room where Josh films covers. He pulls out two scripts. "You will be Ana, and I'll be Ben."

(INSERT LINES I HAVEN'T WRITTEN YET!  I'M SO BAD! I will post the entire script later once I transcribe it. The story is up now. Its called The Life and Lies of Anatolia Martino.)

TIME SKIP FORWARD A WEEK

"Hey will you go to my audition as moral support?"

"Yeah! Sure!"

TIME SKIP FORWARD TWO DAYS

I show up at the Colley house, where I find Cam in his room panicking.

"Why did I sign up for this? I haven't acted in years. But this is the perfect role for me. And Jordy will be there. Why am I panicking? I shouldn't be panicking! Jordy will be the one--- "

I cut off his sentence by knocking on the doorframe.

"Hey, was I interrupting anything?"

"Nope, just me having a panic attack. Hey do you have your dance bag?"

"Yeah, that's a strange thing I would need for moral support."

"CAM! JORDY! IT'S TIME TO GO!" Mrs. Colley shouts up the stairs. We run down the stairs and into her car.  We listen to Hamilton on the way there, jamming out to Guns and Ships. Once we get there Mrs. Colley drops us off, Cam signs us in and then tells me don't be mad.

"Jordy, don't be mad but you aren't here for moral support."

"What do you mean?"

"I signed you up for an audition, that's why I had you bring your dance bag."

"But how did you get my resume and stuff? Does my mom know?"

"I told your mom, she is cool with it, I got your dance resume from your website. I didn't tell you so you wouldn't stress out. You are ready."

"Okay, I'm still pissed, and now after this we are going to the studio. You, Cameron (insert middle name) Colley are a jerk."

A short lady comes out of a door and says, "Auditioning for the role of Ana Martino we have Jordan White. You're up, break a leg."

So that was drama filled. I'm so sorry it took so long, and that it's so short. I will try to have the next chapter up by tomorrow, but it may be up today. The story Life and Lies will be up shortly, It isn't completed yet, I don't know how to continue it, so if you could leave some suggestions on that. The script version isn't up yet, so if someone wants to help me turn my story into a script, I would gladly appreciate the help. Just message me or comment on this chapter.
