Meet Me By The Stage Door (Cameron/Joshua Colley)

Fly system

            

I get on stage and walk over to Cam, because Jude and Sawyer are talking. I pull him aside and whisper "we have to kiss in this show."

"Does Sawyer know?" He whispers back to me.

"I don't know, I also may have to kiss Finn and Jude."

"Oh." He says as we walk back to the large group of actors.

"So on October 15th we will be having the first Life and Lies open mic night. It will be at the theatre, at 7 pm, but you all have to be here at 3:30 because we have a meeting and we need to set up. Today we will be starting with the fly system, Jordy! Are you ready?"

"Yup!"

"Cameron, Finn, Jude. You all ready to catch her?"

"Yup!"

"I hope so!" Finn says uncertainly.

"Yeah!" Jude says loudly

"EVERYONE ELSE RUN LINES, AND PRACTICE. CAMERON YOU ARE UP FIRST." Mark says loudly over all the chatter. "AND GO!"

Cam and I walk over to Mark who is by the fly system.

"So, I'm going up on that today?"

"Yup, I hope you aren't afraid of heights."

"Terrified!" I say sarcastically

"So to check that Cam can hold your weight, jump into his arms."

I jump bridal style and he catches me easily. I jump down and then cross my arms. Cam walks up behind me and picks me up.

"Yeah, I can hold her weight she weighs like 40lbs."

"I weigh a healthy 90! I'm just tiny, because I'm a dancer!"

"Sure, I totally believe that."

"You two! Stop flirting and go harness up." Mark yells sharply

"We, weren't, I wasn't." We both stutter out.

"Just get over there lovebirds." He says as we separate and run off.

AUTHORS NOTE!!! SO THIS IS A SHORT CHAPTER BUT THE NEXT ONE WILL BE EVEN SHORTER BUT FILLED WITH A WHOLE LOT OF STUFF.
