I'm Not What You Think I Am

He's not dead, But I am.

Belle hugged her dad tightly as he was gonna leave. Glenn chuckled and he stroked her head. He hugged her back gently. 

"I'll be back don't worry. Okay?" Glenn said as he then kneeled down and he looked up at his daughter. Belle nodded and she hugged him. 

"Come back in one piece okay dad." She said and he smiled. 

"I will sweetie. Take care of your mom while I'm gone." He said as he then kissed her forehead gently. Belle kissed his cheek before Glenn went over to Maggie and he said goodbye. Belle stood there. She was more surprised that Glenn walked over to Carl. 

"You hurt my daughter and you'll be fed to a walker. But, protect her while I'm gone." Glenn said looking at Carl as the two men looked at Belle. 

"I will don't worry. "Carl said as he then walked over to Belle and he pulled her into his arms as they watched the group lead the walkers away. Belle hung her head down and she looked at Carl. 

"I don't know what I'm gonna do." She said as she looked at Carl. But she had a feeling he knew what to do. She ended up being dragged to his house. She was told to wait. Belle sat down on the couch. She waited for Carl to come back. When he did, he covered her eyes from behind. Belle smiled and soon she was taken to his room. When he removed his hands she saw a boombox and rose petals on the floor. She looked at Carl and she smiled. He pulled her close and he began to slow dance with her after the music started to play. * Belle danced with Carl happily as she rested her head on his shoulder as they danced in circles in his bedroom. She was thinking about telling him the truth but she didn't know how he would act. She closed her eyes and she relaxed as she swayed with him as the music slowly played. 

"I love you, Belle. Now, Forever and Always." Carl whispered softly in her ear as he held her close. 

"I love you too Carl, Forever and always," Belle said in a whisper back. Soon the song died down but they kept swaying back and forth. They didn't have any cares in the world. Until they heard the gate open. Rick yell out orders. All the lights were turned off and there was no noise. But Belle went to go and check on her mother. She hugged Maggie tightly glad that she was okay and she was wondering what was going on but that ended when she heard the sounds of walkers...

Belle sighed as she then went home. She heard that Glenn wasn't back yet. People thought he was dead but she wasn't gonna give up. Being a kid and knowing this place from her youth she knew how to get out. She looked around and she was getting ready to leave. She then felt someone grab her arm just as she was at the wall. 

"Where are you going?" Ron asked as he looked at Belle. Belle looked at him and she sighed. 

"Sorry, Ron." She said as she then punched him in the nose and she fixed her bag and she climbed the wall. She heard Ron yell out which got the attention of a lot of people. Rick and Carl came running out to see what was going on. Belle was at the top of the wall. 

"Belle what are you doing!" Carl yelled as he was full of worry. 

"Get down from there now!" Rick said as he looked at Belle. 

"Sorry boys. But I'm going to go look for my dad. I can't live without him and you know that. I'm sorry. Keep Maggie safe!" She said as she then pulled her gun she then shot at a few. She slowly got a pocket for herself so she climbed down and she kept shooting until she ran out. Once she ran out she pushed the walkers and stabbed some. She then luckily got out and she pulled her flashlight quickly and she ran. She wasn't going to look for Glenn. She was following orders. 

After endless hours of walking, she was found. It was a car heading to the Kingdom. She looked int the truck and she walked up to them. 

"Hey, you guys Saviors?" She asked as she looked at the man. 

"Yeah who are you?" The man asked.

"Give me that and I'll tell you." She said as she pointed to his walkie-talkie. The man pulled a gun and Belle held up her bat. He gave her the walkie-talkie. 

"Hey, Negan. Guess who's alive" Belle said as she hoped he heard. She took her finger off the button as she waited. She then smiled.

"Son of a bitch. Belle is that you?" Negan asked. 

"Sure is. Mind welcoming me home?" She asked 

"Of course. Whoever is with Belle. Finish your job and quickly get her home now." NEgan ordered as Belle handed the thing back to the man. 

"You are in luck. We aren't that far." The man said a little pissed. 

"Thank you. I won't kill you now. Please hurry." She said as she then climbed into the truck fully and she sat down. On the ride home, she began to think. Glenn won't die. But she knows she will by the hands of her lover if he ever found out.
