Nightmare Falling

Jack POV

As the hours pass by, I feel like something is being sucked out of me. I know it's my power, and it is sure taking a long time.

I know I won't be getting out of this one. There is a huge window in front of me, and I've just been sitting here silently, waiting for everything to just be over with.

I hear footsteps, but faint ones. I suddenly see Rapunzel racing towards the window.

My eyes widen, and I sit up. I open my mouth to speak, but she puts her finger on her lips, giving me an alarming look.

"Don't speak, unless you want them to find out I'm here," she says. I nod slowly, analyzing her face.

Purple bruises cover her face and neck, and she has a few cuts as well.

I have to be honest, I missed her.

"Jack, I'm gonna try my best to help you get out of here, okay?" she whisper yells, and continues turning back to see if anyone was following.

"I can't do it right now...they will know I am here. But you still have many hours before this process is complete, and until the very last drop of magic has been drained, it isn't permanent," she explains.

I watch her, and nod frantically in response.

There has just been one thing on my mind mostly

Where is Elsa?

Suddenly loud footsteps that seem to be running are coming in our direction. Rapunzel curses and takes off, running for her life.

Elsa POV

I frantically pace, thinking of a way to get out of here. There is no door.

There has to be a way out. Lex had to of gotten himself in here, and he obviously would have a way out.

I glance at his jacket. He probably has something in his pocket. But these stupid cuffs..!

I need to get them off.

That can wait.

I bring my hands to his pockets, and skim the surface. I feel a remote like thing in one of his pockets and start to try and reach it, though the movement of my hands are limited.

I manage to grab it, and I stare at it.

There are so many buttons.

"Um...." I mumble. I hit the big blue one, and a door suddenly appears.

I smile running out, and shutting it behind me.

He's gonna be the one trapped now.

I look both ways, seeing long hallways down each side of me. I don't know where to go.

I start walking to the left, and there is a huge area full of space. I start to walk around and look around, and I hear my name being called out.

I turn around, and see a huge glass window showing a room on the other side, containing Jack.

He looks more pale, and his silver hair is slowly changing color, into a more dark color. His palms are on the window, as he desperately watches me.

"Jack!" I yell. I run to the window in surprise. "Oh my.... how do I get you out of here?" I ask myself, looking around the glass for something- anything to help him escape.

"Elsa," Jack whispers. I hum in response, not looking up as I frantically search for any type of button, or key. "Look at me," he says softly. I pause and look at him, lightly panting.

"I...love you Els. I'm sorry," he utters, watching me, looking at my expression. "Jack...you broke up with me.." I state, as he shakes his head. "It was a mistake....I shouldn't of had," he replies.

"You're everything to me," he says. I looked at his face, seeing he was genuine. I feel a tear run down my face, and I put my hands in my pockets. I suddenly gasp, as I felt the remote that I stole from Lex in my pocket.

That's how I get him out of here, it's probably something on the remote.

My face lights up and I grab the remote, staring at the buttons. I feel someone come up behind me suddenly, and Jack's expression instantly portrays worry.

The remote is snatched from me, and I instantly turn around, seeing Lex. He smiles at me, laughing. "Princess, look at me. Did you really think I was that weak to actually get knocked out by that chair? You hit me so softly," he says, chuckling.

"Huh?" I ask. "And I'm not that stupid to let you escape," he adds on. I frown. "Wait- so you let me go?" I ask, perplexed.

"Duh. I thought it was funny, and I let you have at least five minutes with your friend here, but times up- let's go," he says. I back away with a intense look on my face, shaking my head. Lex starts walking towards me, cornering me into a wall, his presence intimidating me.

He strokes my cheek suddenly, but then puts a necklace around my neck.

"Get away from her!" Jack yells, slamming his fist on the glass- hard, but of course it has no effect. Lex glances his way, and rolls his eyes. "Shut up before I come in there," he warns.

"You're coming with me whether you want to or not, but this necklace is a mark statement. It's laced with magic, so wherever you go I can find you. You won't run far again," he utters, grabbing my wrist and pulling me along.

I glance back at Jack, staring at him hopelessly. I don't know how to save him now.
