Elsa POV

I was freaking out at this point. Anna has been missing for weeks, as well as her friend Ariel. They were filed as missing. Every phone call I get, I pick up instantly to see if they found her.

Astrid was over my place, and she was playing on the Xbox I have here. "Elsa, I'm sure Anna is okay," she tells me. I nod. "Yea... she probably is just out acting like a psycho," I conclude.

I sit next to her, and open my laptop to look for a movie. "How are you doing though? Are you and Hiccup okay?" I ask her.

She pauses the game and sighs. "I don't know. I think so. I forgave him but, I'm still really upset," she explains. "Yea... I get you," I reply.

I can't really make excuses for Merida, but she's my friend; so I won't say anything against her. I haven't talked to her as much recently, and it's my fault. I was just in my feelings a lot during the times she would reach out to me.

"Do you think I'm not good enough maybe?" she asks me. I stare at her in shock. "You? Not good enough?" I ask her, perplexed.

Honestly, Astrid is gorgeous. Nice and wavy blonde hair to her shoulders, nice big blue eyes, perfect skin, and perfect figure.

Merida too is really beautiful. She has really long red hair, and it's extremely curly. Bright blue eyes, and she also has a nice figure. All my friends look good to be honest.

"Yes Elsa," Astrid says, rolling her eyes. "You're more than enough," I tell her.

Our conversation is interrupted by an incoming phone call. I run to the counter almost falling, and pick up the unknown number.

"Hello?" I start.

"Hi. Is this Elsa Reed?" the woman on the phone asks. "Yes that's me," I reply.

"I'm calling you from the local police department..... we know what has happened to your sister. However, I want you to brace yourself my dear.. this is not news you will want to hear," she tells me.

My heart drops.

Oh no.

Don't think the worst. "Elsa? Who's talking?" Astrid asks.

"Please tell me," I reply to the woman. "There is gate by Lexington Street, where things are taken to be burnt. I'm afraid we found Anna Reed and Ariel Mable's DNA there. Also, a fire went off undetected, which means something was burned," she says.

My eyes widen. "What are you trying to say?" I whisper. "Your sister and her friend are most likely dead... I'm so sorry," she says.

It takes me a second to process. I feel a cold tear fall down my cheek. I was completely frozen, couldn't move. Astrid's calls were like background noise.

My breath shortens, and I hold my chest as I fall.

I hear my phone fall, and I hear the screen shatter. Does that really matter to me though? It doesn't. At all.

I can feel Astrid shaking me, but I'm unresponsive. I finally muster up the ability to speak.

"Anna," I choke out.

"They found her? Is she in trouble?!" Astrid asks worriedly.

"She's dead," I whisper.

I start patting my chest continuously to maybe make it stop pounding so hard.

"Elsa...no," she says softly, tears falling down her eyes.

Merida POV

"I know we have our differences... but I've never seen Elsa this way," Astrid whispers over the phone, her voice raspy as if she's been crying.

She called me to tell me the news.

My whole heart is crushed... and I can't imagine how Elsa is feeling right now. "I'm on my way," I say, ending the phone call.

I run out of my house, and start heading to Elsa's since she's literally around the block.

I get there and I open the unlocked door and step inside. She needs to start locking her doors.

I suddenly hear bizarre screaming coming from up the stairs, which scared me. I shut the door and rush up the steps, following the screams.

"Elsa, stop!" Astrid shouts. "Let go of me!!" Elsa retorts.

I run to the bathroom to see what's happening, and I see Elsa and Astrid fighting over a bottle of pills. "Oh my-" I whisper. I immediately call the police.

After I finish talking to them, I look back at Elsa and Astrid.

Astrid manages to knock it out of Elsa's hands, making all the pills spill out onto the floor. Elsa stares at the pills desperately, as she falls to the floor sobbing.

"What have you done?!" Elsa shrieks. Tears run down my eyes as I watch in horror. I haven't seen her like this before. She looks so broken- like she was going through pure suffering.

Elsa wraps her arms around her legs and cradles herself while crying miserably. "Elsa..." I call.

Astrid tries to comfort her, but she doesn't mind her.

"How did this happen?" I ask Astrid. Astrid takes a deep breath in, and looks up at me. "After I called you she managed to quickly come up here, and when I found her she was trying to open the bottle," Astrid explains.

Good God.

I can't stand to see Elsa like this.

"I want to die," she whimpers. "No... please don't say that," Astrid says softly, trying to wipe her tears. "Let me die, I want to die!" Elsa sobs.

I had no words, I was just shocked. I thank God Astrid was with her today.

"I have no more family... my parents are gone... Anna gone... my grandparents gone.." Elsa whispers. "Why won't you leave me to be gone too?" Elsa cries bitterly.

"Because we need you," I whisper, my voice raspy. "And we love you... and can't just let you die love," I say, kneeling in front of her.

"I'm so sorry Elsa," Astrid mutters.

She ignores us as she continues to cry. Her cries carry such a great measure of pain... and it was hurting me that I was able to hear it.

Police officers rush up the steps, seeing the scene that was going on. Elsa just continues to whisper that she wants to die, ignoring every thing and everyone around her.

One of the female cops help Elsa up, and they take her out.
