Jack POV

"This is the location to his hideout. You need to follow all the directions on this map to find it, or else you could easily get lost. This map is a one way route, if you end up on another...you could just not find it at all," Anna informs. Ariel nods, handing me the map.

"Thanks guys," I reply. "Elsa is going with you right?" Anna asks, making me stop in my tracks. "Um..well she was- but I don't know if she is anymore," I say, uncomfortablely squirming on the stool.

"Why?" Ariel asks.

"Well....I broke up with her last night...." I trail, looking down.

There was silence for a second, and I feel someone grab my collar. I look up seeing Anna holding my collar tightly.

"That's why she hasn't come out of her room! Why would you do that to her?!?!" Anna exclaims.

I say nothing, and she lets go of me. "I'm sorry....she was just-"

I stop talking immediately, not wanting to get punched. "I'm gonna get my stuff," I say, heading up the stairs.

Elsa comes out of her room finally, her hair in a slick ponytail, with a sweatshirt and jeans. She's holding about 100 pieces of paper in a stack. I am startled seeing her, and seems to be startled seeing me. She suddenly drops all the blank pieces of paper, and gasps.

"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry," she whispers, getting to her knees and picking the papers. "Let me help you," I say, bending down to help her pick the papers.

The awkward silence crowded the air as we rummage through the sheets. Her hand touches mine, and I looked up at her for a slight second.

I already regret doing that to her last night. Just seeing her face makes me want to hold her, and kiss her.

But I can't, because if you recall, I ruined everything. Her face is red, and she looks light headed as she continued to pick the papers.

"Hey...I was gonna ask if you are still coming with me to find Pitch...and I completely get it if you wouldn't want to," I say.

She stares at me for awhile, furrowing her eyebrows and biting her lip.

"Um.." she trails, looking at her fingers. "Yea...I'll come," she mutters quietly.

I nod, handing her the papers, getting up and walking away.

The look on her face....I didn't want to see it anymore.

As if it was hurting her just to look at me.

Merida POV

I grab my bow about to head back inside after practicing with the arrows, and I see Hiccup come out.

I sigh, seeing him trudge his way over to me. "Oh hey Mer....I haven't seen you in awhile?" he says, scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh, I've just spent most of my days arching....that's probably why," I respond, as he nods.

We stand there in silence as the fast and chilly winds whisk by, almost knocking me off my feet.

"Look, Mer-"

"Um guys?!" a voice calls out.

I turn, seeing Ariel standing inside, her head poking from out the door. "Elsa and Jack are about to leave, come in and say bye before they go!" she yells out once again.

"Okay!" me and Hiccup shout through the wind, as we began sprinting towards the open door.

We get inside, seeing Elsa and Jack giving hugs to everyone, and giving assurances that they will both make it back.

Elsa comes to me, and smile lightly. I could still see the pain in her eyes from what happened with her and Jack...

I don't know how she is gonna make this journey with him.

"I'll see you soon Merida....I will be back before you know it," she assures. I smile, and hug her.

"I know you will."
