Rapunzel POV

"How do you have money?" I ask Eritrea. She shrugs. "Just because I was living in the compound doesn't mean I was broke," she says. I shrug. Can't argue with that.

She bought us a hotel room. She could only afford one, so we all have to share beds.

"Are you okay? Do you want me to carry you?" Eugene asks. I laugh. "I'm fine Eugene, you don't have to worry," I assure him. He raises a brow. "I don't have to worry? You basically died, and your hair changed color. Your heart was knocked out of place- and there is a possibility you won't be alive by the end of the week. I think I should be more than worried Rapunzel," he rambles.

I smile at him, looking up. "I'll be fine, I promise. I'm a survivor... I can't be killed off that easy okay?" I say. He chuckles, throwing his arm around me. "Whatever you say blondie- wait," he says, facepalming.

I laugh. "Yea... I'm not so blonde anymore," I reply. "Okay, but you're still cute," he replies. I feel myself blush. "So cutie it is," he says, smiling triumphantly.

"I guess you guys are having a little moment, but I would appreciate if you would walk through the door so I can stop holding it open for you," Kristoff says.

I feel my face get hot, as I quickly walk through the door. I can hear Eugene laughing at me, making me roll my eyes. "Okay, me and Rapunzel can share this bed," Eritrea announces.

Eugene shuts the door. "Are you kidding me? I'm not sharing a bed with a dude," he complains. "Ditto," Kristoff says as well.

"Well what do you want me to do? I'm not sharing a bed with either of you!" Eritrea exclaims. "Sharing a bed with one of you is better than sharing it with him," Kristoff says. "Heck yea! I call dips on Rapunzel!" Eugene shouts.

I hid my face because I knew I was blushing. "This is not happening right now," Eritrea says, facepalming.

"We need to go out and get food anyway. Let's go to the Walgreens right by the hotel- then we can figure this bed nonsense out," Eritrea says irritatedly, grabbing her sweater.

I shrug. "Sounds good to me," I reply, following her out the door.

We walked towards the Walgreens and I sigh in delight. We were finally back in the city. Not my hometown city- but it feels good to be out of the wilderness and into civilization.

Suddenly I hear screeching from above.

I look up in the sky, and see nightmares. They were traveling in their sand form, and were screeching like monsters.

"Oh. My. God," I whisper. The townspeople start screaming in horror. The nightmares were somewhat far away, but it was safe to say they found us.

I was so scared that I felt I couldn't move.

"Guys, snap out of it. We have to hide!" Eritrea shouts.

She runs to the townspeople, and urges them to get to safety.

"Guys, COME ON!" Eritrea shouts. I feel tears run down my eyes due to the horror I was feeling at the moment. Their name suits them perfectly- nightmares are terrifying.

I snap out of it, and yank Eugene. "Come on!" I shout. We start running into the Walgreens store, and everyone is frozen with fear. Eritrea runs to try and get them out of their daze.

Some of them run and hide, and others don't budge.

"Guys, hide under something!" Eritrea shouts. I run and hide under a shelf that was extremely low.

I have no idea where any one else was. "Remember to stay quiet," she advises.

There is no sound or movement, all I can hear is the faint screeching of nightmares from far away.

It was the worst feeling ever. Waiting for them to come by looking for us- the fear of not knowing when...

I was under a shelf so all I could see was the floor.

Suddenly I hear the windows shatter, and the ear shattering screeches of nightmares.

I hear people scream in pain as if nightmares are tearing them apart.

I squeezed my eyes shut, feeling tears run down my cheeks.

Suddenly I feel myself being yanked from beneath the shelf, and pulled into eyesight.

"Rapunzel, no!" I hear Eugene shout. I stare up at the nightmares, as they hover over me.

They swoop down as if they were going to devour me alive-

Then suddenly I feel some type of force field.

The nightmares would try to come for me- but they would bounce off this type of force field.

I look over to my right, confused.

I see Eritrea stretching out her right hand towards me, as if she was the one controlling it.

"Eugene, Kristoff, get into Rapunzel's bubble so I can protect you!" She shouts.

"What about you?!" I exclaim. She's out in the open. The nightmares rush towards her, and she stretches out her left hand.

She pushes some sort of energy which is dissolving the nightmares that are coming for her.

Eugene and Kristoff run into my force field, and we watch Eritrea fight off the nightmares. "I wish I could help her... but I'm powerless," I say to myself.

"I didn't even know she had powers," Kristoff commented. "She's Pitch's daughter you idiot," Eugene states.

"What are we gonna do?" I ask.

We sat helplessly in her forcefield while Eritrea tries to fight the nightmares off.
