For The First Time//Jonah//Merinda

M- Hey I am almost here!

I sent my best friend Jack Avery a message, telling him I was almost at the hotel he was staying at. I had known Jack since we were about 10 and I was so excited when he started his music career. I had never met his band mates before because he didn't want me to not like them, so he decided that me not meeting them was better than me not liking them. Yeah, I know.

I felt my phone finally buzz, meaning I had gotten a text back.

J- Yay I am so excited Merinda, I'll be outside the hotel when you get here.

I laughed and smiled at his text and looked up, seeing I was about 5 minutes away. 

After a while, I ended up at the hotel and I saw Jack looking around. He was facing the other way so I decided to scare him.

I quietly ran to him and jumped on his back. He caught me without knowing who I was. He eventually dropped me back onto the floor and turned around to face me.

"I should have known," He said, wrapping me in a hug. I laughed in the hug and we didn't let go for what felt like forever.

"I am so happy you guys are on tour and I get to finally see you after so long!" I said, looking at him for the first time in forever.

"Yes it has been too long," He agreed with me.

"Another point is I can finally meet your band!" I said excitedly. He laughed at me, nodded and led me into the hotel. He dragged me to the elevator where he leaned against the wall.

"I am going to warn you, they are weird," He said like I had never seen them before.

"I have seen your interviews and other videos dont you forget, I know they are weird," I said, laughing at his expression.

"Oh yeah," He said as the elevator door opened. He lead me to his room and opened the door, exposing 4 boys sitting on the beds.

"Hey guys," Jack said, leading me to the middle. I stood their awkwardly, looking at all of them. Although I looked at all of them, my attention was caught by a very tall boy that I knew to be Jonah.

"This is Corbyn, Jonah, Daniel and Zach," He said, pointing at the each boy. 

"Its nice to meet you," I said, heading towards each of the boys. I went to go shake Corbyn's hand but he pulled me into a hug. I pulled away and looked at Jonah and he gave me a very big bear hug. I hugged the rest of the boys and we all sat down.

"I am going to my room for a sec, you want to explore my room or something Merinda?" I heard Jonah ask.

"You should Merinda, just in case I happen to be in there later on and you need me," Jack said, nodding his head.

"Why not," I said, walking with Jonah to the door. As soon as we stepped through the door and he had shut the door, Jonah grabbed my hand and dragged me to his room. He dragged me inside the room as well and dragged me over to the bed. 

"Umm..." I said, unsure of what was happening.

"I was wondering if you would like to go get some lunch?" Jonah said, moving his hand to the back of his head whilst he looked down.

"Sure," I said, unsure of why he was so nervous. "Why are you nervous?"

"Jack made sure we knew you were off limits, but I cannot help who I have a crush on," He said, pacing the room. He then stopped, realising he had said the last part out loud.

"You have a crush on me? We have only know each other for like 20 minutes," I said, unsure of how he gained this crush.

"I have heard so much about you and I have seen videos and seen photos so it feels like I have known you for way longer than I have," He admitted.

"Oh," Was my only response. I stood there, unsure of how to continue talking.

"Well, we don't have to go get food anymore if you don't want to," He said, rubbing the back of his head again.

"Let's go," I said, grabbing his hand and leading him out the hotel room.

"Umm okay?" He laughed as we both entered the elevator, still holding each others hands.
