Childhood Best Friends//Daniel//Kelsie

"Kelsie!" I heard from behind me. I turned to see my childhood friend Daniel running towards me.

Daniel and I had known each other ever since we were 4 and we did everything together since then. I influenced him to go on American Idol when we were younger and i supported him throughout it all. We were the clostest friends, but for the past 3 years, I had a crush on him.

I had decided to visit Daniel at his show in our home state as we hadn't had seen each other in 3 months. He told me to meet him before the show so we could meet up. 

"Dani!" I yelled back. We wrapped our arms around each other and he lifted me up into a hug. We stayed in the hug for about 40 seconds until he let me back on the ground. The boys walked over once they saw me.

"Hey Kelsie," Jonah said as he reached down to give me a hug. One after the other, the other boys did the same. The boys and I walked onto the stage and Daniel reminded me of a song we would always sing when we were younger. We laughed at the memory and the boys did too.

"You guys should perform it," Corbyn said, thinking this was all funny.

"No, I can't sing like you guys," I said.

"Kelsie, you are so good," Daniel said as he looked me in the eyes.

"Sing," Jonah said. Daniel started the song and I eventually ended up joining in. We sang the song to each other and the boys did not stop staring. 

At the end of the song, Daniel and I both turned to the boys and they looked stunned.

"You said you couldn't sing. You can sing!" Corbyn exclaimed in a dramatic voice.

"You are performing," Jack said, walking away. I looked at Daniel and he looked at me and smiled.

"Well, I guess we are performing together," He said and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. Butterflies entered my stomach, but I tried to pretend that nothing happened.

Later on, the boys had sound check and Daniel and I had to do a sound check as well. Daniel was gonna play the guitar for the song. 

After sound check, I paced the halls nervous as I hadn't performed in front of a sold out show, especially with a massive band and it was my crush's/best friend's band. Zach saw me pacing the halls and walked over to me.

"Hey Kelsie, what's wrong?" 

"I'm nervous," I said, still pacing the halls. Zach walked over to me and he grabbed my shoulders.

"You'll be fine, Daniel wouldn't perform with you if he didn't believe in you."

"Thanks Zach," I said giving Zach a hug. I heard a cough from behind me and I turned to see Daniel looking at us confused.

"Am I interrupting something here?" He questioned, confusion plastered on his face.

"No no no no," We both said at the same time. We looked at each other and laughed at how we both answered the question the same way. Daniel wrapped an arm around my shoulder and started heading to an inhabited room. Daniel shut the door, turned on the lights and stood in front of me.

"So, you and Zach?" Daniel asked, still thinking there was something going on between me and him.

"Daniel, no! I would not date one of your friends, I wouldn't do that," I said, trying to reassure him.

"Okay, I believe you," He said, but that was unbelievable.

"Daniel, you don't believe me don't you?" I asked.

"I do," He reassured me.

"Are you jealous that someone is trying to steal your best friend?" I asked, trying to get a smile from him. He laughed and opened the door to the room to let me out. 

Before I could walk out the room, Daniel pressed me up against the wall and kissed me. I kissed back, but we were rudely interrupted by coughing. We both pulled away to see the 4 boys standing there.

"Finally, you did it!" Jack said.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Daniel has always liked you, did you not know this?" Zach said. "That's why I grabbed your shoulders, to get him jealous." I looked at Daniel to see if it was true, and we was tomato red.

"Wow, thanks for telling me," I said as I started to walk away. Daniel quickly hurried to me, wrapped an arm around my waist and whispered in my ear.

"Let's get ready for the show!"

Hey guys, so we now definitely have a new author joining us. Her name is Natasha, so now we should be able to post more and also in 1 week, we will have all 3 of us back to writing. Lot's more will be coming out soon xx
