"How could you!" My boyfriend, Daniel, yelled at me. To his knowledge, I had been flirting with a couple guys and hooked up with one at the party we went to for one of his friends. I know the boys were flirting, but I told them I had a boyfriend and I made sure they knew I was happy in that relationship.

"Daniel, I didn't flirt with them. I didn't hook up with one! Who even told you that!" I yelled, trying to get my point across.

"Stacy told me," He said, calming down a bit. Stacy really really loved Daniel and yet he didn't see it.

"You trust Stacy over me Daniel? Is that it?" I asked, trying to get him to say why he believed that crazy girl.

"Well, I dunno," He said, looking down. This indicated to me that he felt ashamed he even believed her in the first place.

"Do you want me to tell you what happened?" I asked him. He replied with a nod and so I told him what had happened.

*Flash back*

"Hey Halie and Daniel," Stacy, Daniels friend, said whilst staring at my boyfriend. I got to admit, Daniel looked amazing, but that isn't unusual. 

"Hey Halie, I'm just gonna go look around for some old friends, you want to come with me?" Daniel asked.

"No no, you can go and see them," I said. He smiled at how relaxed I was and kissed my cheek. He walked off slowly, the Stacy girl following him. I rolled my eyes and tried to find the kitchen. I spotted the kitchen and so I walked in and grabbed a cup and put some water in it, not really feeling like drinking anything else.

"Hey," I heard a voice from behind me. There were 2 guys standing behind me with cups of something in their hand.

"Hi," I said smiling, using my friendly nature to gain me some friends.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing all by herself?" One of the guys asked.

"Oh, my boyfriend has just gone to catch up with some friends," I replied, not acknowledging the compliment. "I am Halie by the way."

"I'm Jace," The guy who did all the talking said, "And this is my friend Reece," He said, pointing the shy one who had said nothing.

"Nice to meet you both," I said, grabbing my cup and taking a sip.

"What are you drinking tonight?" Jace asked.

"Just some water, not feeling the best."

"Oh that's a shame," Jace said.

"What are you guys drinking tonight?" I asked them to be polite. For the first time, Reece spoke up.

"Jace is drinking anything he can get his hands on while I have to drink soft drink and be responsible," He said, chuckling to himself. I joined him in the laughter and soon we all just stood their laughing for a while. We were still laughing until I heard my name over the loud music.

"Halie!" I heard a voice scream. I looked over and Daniel looked pissed, Stacy stood next to him with her arms crossed and smirking in my direction. "We are going!" He said, grabbing my arm.

"Nice to meet you Jace and Reece," I yelled while Daniel pulled me to the door.

"Nice to meet you Halie," Jace said while Reece just waved.

*End of flashback*

"Wait really, that's all that happened?" Daniel asked, walking to sit on the couch. He sat and I followed him, sitting with him.

"Yes that's all that happened Daniel," I said, grabbing both his hands, making him look up at me.

"Okay, thank you for that. I am sorry," Daniel said as he wrapped me in a hug.

"Its fine Daniel, please believe me first next time," I asked as we pulled away from the hug. He nodded and kissed my cheek, turning to turn the tv on as I cuddled into his side.
