We sat down at a booth that would usually sit four. The waitress, some lady named Jess, set down two menus and asked about drinks.

"I'll have a Root beer, please" I said.

"And can I have a strawberry lemonade?" Grace asked.

"Of course, I'll bring those out soon." The waitress smiled and left our table.

"So." Grace smiled from across the table. "Is your sister going to keep quiet about this too?"

"Yeah but it's going to cost me later." I joked. "Your lucky not to have siblings."

"I've always wanted a sister..." She trailed off.

"Go ahead, take mine!" We both laughed, trying to keep it down. We kept talking as if we'd been friends for years and years, until the conversation came to a dull point.

"Okay, would you rather time." She smiled.

"Nice choice." I laughed. "You go first."

"Would you rather never die but be alone OR die in a week surrounded by loved ones?" Grace sipped her drink through the straw watching me think.

"I'd die in a week." I answered. She nodded, agreeing. "Would you rather be stuck in a pit of snakes or spiders.

"Snakes!" She said immediately. "I hate spiders."

"Look at that, I already know more about you and it's been 5 minutes." I joked.

She smiled. "Would you rather eat a random strangers mother OR have to watch your own mother get eaten?"

"Wow, morbid." I laughed. "I'd watch my mom get eaten... sadly." She laughed. "Okay, would you rather-"

"Alright, are you guys ready to order?" The waiter asked. Grace ordered the shrimp Alfredo and I got the spaghetti with meatballs.

Our food arrived soon after we were done playing would you rather and we started to eat.

"Okay, tell me something funny. About when you were a kid." I smiled at Grace, taking a bite of my pasta.

"Okay..." She thought. "Oh I've got it. When I was eight, I told a boy in my class that if he snorted chalk I would give him my gushers. He did it, and then in class, he sneezed and pink chalk came out."

"Oh my god!" I laughed.

"We had to go to the principals office,"

"Well." I thought. "..... When I was twelve I went to the circus with my Mom and one of the clowns was an escaped convict. Like a guy who had escaped from jail and dressed up as a clown to hide."

"Seriously?!" She laughed.

"Seriously." I smiled at her. She was gorgeous when she laughed, so pure.

"Well when I was 14 I thought I saw a shark in Hawaii and so I kicked it in the nose... it was my Dad." She smiled waiting for my reaction. I started cracking up. "He started bleeding."

The conversation lasted for hours, and we took some breadsticks to-go. I held the to-go box in my hands as we walked out to my car at around 8. I sat in front of the wheel and she sat down in the passengers seat, not bothering to buckle. It was dark out and the parking lot was close to empty.

She looked at me with the green eyes that drive me crazy. I leaned in slowly, brushing some hair off her face. She took the collar of my shirt in her fists, pulling me closer as our lips met. She started to crawl into the backseat of the car, pulling me with her, our lips never parting except for air. I followed her into the back of my car, I sat down and she found her way on top of me, kissing passionately. I felt my heart beat and hers, both in sync. She straddled me, holding my face as we kissed. It was surreal, unlike anything I'd felt before. Her hands met the buttons of my shirt and she unbuttoned them slowly, all from the backseat of my tiny car.

"James." She muttered between kisses, she stopped un-buttoning. I kept kissing her

"JAMES." She shouted. I stopped, looking at her. The moment was over as I heard what she stopped for. From the cupholder in the front seat my phone was ringing. I grabbed it and answered.

"Hello?" I asked, out of breath. Grace slowly crawled off me to slouch in the seat next to me.

"James! Come home right now. Mom and Dad are coming home early. They're on their way." Katie shouted.

"What?" I asked, panicked.

"Come home and HURRY!" She yelled "Unless you want to get caught!"

"Okay." I muttered. "We'll leave." I hung up and crawled back into the front seat.

"But-" Grace started.

"My parents are on their way. We have to hurry."

Within minutes we were on our way home, sweaty, a little red, and disappointed. I pulled in front of Grace's house.

"I'm sorry about what happened..." I smiled.

"It's fine." She smiled. "To be continued?" She suggested.

"To be continued." I smiled. "Bye!" Grace left the car, running into the house as I pulled into the garage. I ran inside, seeing Katie sitting at the counter eating ice-cream.

"I called them and said we needed laundry detergent immediately. They said they'd stop and pick it up" She smiled. "You have a few extra minutes."

"Thank you so so much, Kate!" I sighed.

"What happened to your shirt?" She asked and I noticed I hadn't re-done my shirt buttons correctly and a few were misplaced.

"I'm going to go shower, tell them that if they get home."

"Okay." She took another bite of the Chocolate cream.

"Your the best, I owe you!" I said, running upstairs.

After being in the shower for several minutes I began to process the nights events.

"To be continued.." I sighed to myself, rubbing shampoo into my blond hair. "To be continued...."
