Sorry for the late publish! I'm on Autumn break, and wanted to do some relaxing. Hope you're all good :)

Celine~

I look through the window, at the tarmac, it's slow this morning, turns out not many flights are going, it's okay to have it like this, at least for a while.

It was stormy too, that must add to it. The lightning wasn't too bad, but the rain was hell, thrashing at the nearby trees like it's aim was to kill. I feel arms circle my waist and I lean back against his chest.

"I didn't even ask if you worked today." I turn to face him.

"No problem, I'm filling in for someone today.." He says and looks behind me with a worried look. "Great time for Connor to be sick... he is faking."

I stroke his cheek. "They wouldn't let you fly if it was so dangerous, right?"

He looks down at me, raising a brow. "The guys in the tower don't know what it's like to fly in a thunder storm."

"And I'm taking it, you do?"

"Of course, I'm a captain." He smiles, pulling me closer.

I yawn, he looks at me, a bit shocked. "You did a all nighter."

I shrug. "It's my job, Luis."

He shakes his head. "I know what over-working looks  like, and that's you right here." He says. "I don't want you working nights almost every day of the week."

I frown. "You're telling me to?"

"I'm asking. Please, I just care."

I smile and peck him on the lips. "Fine, I'll take your advice."

"And use it... hopefully?" He raises a brow.

"Hopefully." I say.

"Please tell me you're not working today too?"

"I'm filling in for my supervisor... I'm sorrryyy."  I kiss his cheekbone.

"You're not even a supervisor.." He groans.

"I know, but I know what the job detail is, come on, it'll be just a few hours. What harm will it do?"

"Oh, loads."

I tilt my head to the side. "I'll see you soon, and we'll leave for a mini snack."

He chuckles. "You are horrible."

"Kind of..?"

He laughs. "Okay." He kisses me passionately. "I'll call you soon."

"See you."

He walks off with a smile on his face and I hug myself from the cold breeze left behind. I wanted the warmth that he had back, like pronto... but a plane needed it's pilots.

"You coming?" Abigail shouts.

"I'm here, aren't I?" I shrug and walk back to my post.

"Can I get your agreement on this?" She shows me a form about new security... full body x-rays, getting even better every year.

"I'll sign that, I bet Sara would agree too." I put down my initials.

"That girl's even more dumber than the ex I had." She tisks, putting the form away.

"Don't be too fast to judge."

"Can you explain why she didn't know where Budapest, or Bulgaria was... and she's in this business??"

I let a giggle slip. "Okay, that's not... too good, but I think she has her reasons."

"Reasons... as in?"

"Let's forget about her, for now. We've got better things to do."

We check everyone's bags and belongings with ease, no one was in danger to us or the planes, it was mostly them bringing drinks and un-declared food in. But that's minor compared to guns, knives and drugs... those come around more than it should...

"Let's make a deal, I take your shift tomorrow so you can get 'you time', and I get gossip in return."

"Who on earth said I was going on a date?" I raise a brow.

"Me, and me." She winks then goes back to watching the screen. "Talking of... How's Zo?"

I roll my eyes. "She moved out without saying a word to me, I came home yesterday, and her and her stuff were gone."

"That's bullshit, I mean, she's always been nuts."

I nod. "I've got to get my work done, I'm going to check on the other guys, tell me if you need anything."

"Caught you..." She grins at the suitcase coming through.

"Tara!" I nod my head to her and let her handle the bag.
