Chapter Nine: Nightmare: Elizabeth

The sky was cold, grey and everywhere around her was cold. As she took steps on the once soft green grass it turned into blood with each step marking her footprint in blood. She walked long hours trying to find someone to tell her where she was but there was nothing around her except the scene. There were no noises around her except the noise of her feet stepping on the squishy, cold, bloody earth making "Squish, Squish" sounds. It seemed as if she was walking the same path over and over again not being able to break away. Suddenly she tripped and fell down in the ground causing her to see all over her blood. As she got up dead bodies began to appear, with arrows all over their bodies. She saw from fetuses to ancients all over the floor no growing more and more until it was a mountain of dead bodies.

As she looked more closely at the arrows she realized who did it and couldn't believe. She began to try to run away but it was impossible as they began surrounding her not letting her escape, until she was in the middle of piles of death bodies with blood flowing out of them. Heads cut off, burn bodies, bodies sliced into pieces, arrows in their bodies and swords stuck inside the bodies. Just when she thought she could not make it feeling petrified, she began to float until she saw from above that the bodies weren't piles but were made in the shape of a sentence that said.....

"Elizabeth wake up" she felt someone said to her

As her eyes flutter she saw Nicolas shaking her slowly, with wide eyes gazing at her terrified. She got up suddenly and looked around the room noticing as she looked towards the open balcony window that it was about twilight. Her nightgown felt sweaty as all her body too, at the same time her body was cold as ices but seek more coldness trying to get her accelerated heart to beat its normal pace.

"What happened are you alright?" Nicolas asked her trying to comfort her by rubbing his hand up and down her shoulder but only manage to give her goosebumps go across her skin which caused her to also flinch at his warm hand and moved away from him

"It was nothing....It was all a nightmare....don't worry" She said in a thoughtful voice then sent him a small smile trying to reassure him.

Nicolas not buying it wanted to push her into saying what really happened but decided not to and nod as he fell back to sleep again, causing Elizabeth to notice he was dress in his day clothe in bed even though he looked uncomfortable making her chuckle and wanted to wake him up so he could be comfortable but she decided against it when she saw he looked so peaceful and relax he was sleeping with his hair tussle and he was snoring softly causing her to giggle quietly.

Elizabeth tried to remember what her dream was about but couldn't recall anything, just that it meant something. She knew that the goddesses were trying to communicate with her and trying to warn her about something that would happen. She tried to focus her mind but since it was in vain she decided to look outside the balcony window. As Elizabeth was getting out of bed quietly she heard two people arguing and near to shouting. Elizabeth went towards the balcony looking down trying not to be noticed she saw it was Nicolas parents and a young guy in his 20's. He had dirty blond hair, was lean and well muscled and as she try to see his eyes she felt her foot squeak as she step on the wooden floor, making only  the guy to look up. Her bright green eyes were in shock as they come across his blue, clear, celestial eyes.

Electricity flow towards them, making them feel an attraction toward each other as they search each other's eyes and features trying to drink everything about each other.
