Chapter 16

Aubrey's P.O.V.

Today we just had my mom's baby shower. She picked names from her list with her friends and family, and finally decided on one. She wants to name her Julianna Marie Fisher.

Carrie's P.O.V.

Carrie: "Aubrey, honey, will you please take care of the dogs?"

Aubrey: "Mom, don't you see that I'm on the phone with Paige?"

Carrie: "I don't care who your talking to Aubrey. You can bring you're phone with you, and do what I asked. If not, I'll take you're phone missy..."

Aubrey: "Hmmm.... Let me think, no, I'm Okay."

Carrie: "Excuse me?"

Aubrey: "Would you like me to repeat myself mother?"

Mike: "Please, repeat yourself Aubrey!"

Aubrey: "Uhh.... What?"

Mike: "Do I have to repeat myself?"

Aubrey: "No Mike...."

Mike: "Do what you're mother asked, now."

Aubrey: "Okay.... Okay...."

Carrie's P.O.V.

Aubrey goes and let's the dogs out then feeds them. She comes back over and sits down back on the couch.

Carrie: "Why don't you ever listen to me?"

Aubrey: "Because I don't..?"

Carrie: "But you Listen to Mike?"

Aubrey: "Who cares?!"

Carrie: "Ya know what, your grounded! Give me you're phone now."

Aubrey: "No!"

I get up and fight Aubrey for her phone since she isn't listening to me. After I get her phone she kicks me in the face making me fall to the ground.

Carrie: "Just for that, you can give me every other electronic in you're room. Including you're t.v."

As I get up Mike comes running to my side.

Mike: "What the hell happened?"

Carrie: "Aubrey wasn't listening, so I told her to give me her phone. When she said no, I fought her for it, and she kicked me in the face. So that's why I'm on the ground."

Mike: "Are you Okay? How is you're stomach feeling honey?"

Carrie: "The baby and I are fine. Could you go to Aubrey's room and take out everything she can entertain herself with and possibly have a chat with her please?"

Mike: "Yes, of course I can."

After Mike goes upstairs I sit back on the couch and start to think.

Carrie's thoughts: What have I done wrong? Was I like that when I was 13? Maybe She's going through something I don't know about... But really when I told Mike I was Okay, I'm not. Aubrey hurt my feelings... I can't believe she did that to me.
