Carrie runs into her room and cries on her bed. Then Karen comes in.

Karen: "Sweetheart, can we talk?"

Carrie: "I... I... I Guess.... So..."

Karen: "Why Would you cheat?"

Carrie: "I didn't... cheat... It's a.... long story.... Karen...."

Karen: "Then whose John?"

Carrie: "My ex... Aubrey's dad...."

Karen: "Why is he going to visit when Mike's gone then?"

Carrie: "He hurt me Okay!"

Karen: "Sweetheart, what does he do to you?"

Carrie: "He hits me, and... other things. Please, I don't feel comfortable talking about this."

Karen: "Okay, I'm going to go talk to Mike about this. I'm sure he'll understand Carrie."

Karen: "Mike, Carrie's not cheating."

Mike: "Yeah? (Laughs)"

Karen: "Michael, I'm serious! John's her ex. He wanted to visit because he hurts her, and she said he does other things..."

Mike: "I need to go talk to her."

Mike: "Care, I'm gonna protect you. I promise, come here."

Mike pulls Carrie in, and hugs her tight to show her, she's safe in his arms.
