A month later...

Mike's P.O.V.

I wake up next to Carrie in bed. We finally finished painting the house and moving in. She looks so peaceful, so I let her sleep. I get dressed and brush my teeth. Then, I wake up Aubrey so I can take her to school.

Mike: "Aubrey. Time to get up, you gotta go to school."

Aubrey: "Okay!"

I pick Aubrey an outfit out and she changes herself. I brush out her hair and I hear a noise. I look towards the door and see Carrie.

Carrie: "Well good morning! Thank you for waking her up and getting her ready. Would you like me to braid her hair and get her teeth brushed?"

Mike: "Yeah, I'll start breakfast."

Carrie's P.O.V.

I French braid Aubrey's hair and I brush her teeth. I send her downstairs and I go get changed. I slide on a black dress and gold sandles. I straighten my hair quickly and I brush my teeth. I out on some jewelry and head downstairs. By the time I'm ready, we're all ready to go take Aubrey to school. I buckle Aubrey in her car seat and get into the truck. Mike drives to her school and we all get out and walk her to the front doors of her school.

Carrie: "Have a good day baby, I love you. Mike's gonna pick you you from school later on, okay?"

Aubrey: "Okay, I love you mommy."

Aubrey runs up to me and hugs me tight.

Mike: "Have a good day little monster!"

Aubrey: "I Will, you have a good day too big monster!"

Aubrey runs through the doors. Then all the sudden, she comes running towards Mike and hugs him.

Aubrey: "Love you daddy!!!"

We get into the car and we drive home. Mike and I have been talking about the next step for us lately. We think getting married may be the best thing for us right now, but it all depends on where we stand when we're exactly ready.

Few Hours Later....

Carrie's P.O.V.

I'm watching t.v. and I hear a loud bang from the Backdoor. Mike went to pick up Aubrey, so I'm home alone. I pick up my phone and dial 911, I hadn't clicked call yet. I walk towards the Backdoor and before I know it, I was shoved onto the floor. I realize I hit my head really hard on the wall, and my eyesight becomes really blurry. Before I close my eyes, I see John.
