Tough times never last, but tough people do

Chapter 5

Carrie wakes up and throws on shorts and a cute shirt. She wakes up Aubrey and gets her dressed, does her hair, and feeds her. After that Carrie drops Aubrey off at daycare and heads home to finish getting ready. Carrie throws on some makeup and straightens her hair. After that she brushes her teeth and throws on some flip-flops. Finally, Mike calls her.

                     Phone call....

Carrie: "Hey Mike!"

Mike: "Hey there, you ready?"

Carrie: "(Laughs) Yes!"

Mike: "Good cause I'm outside."

Carrie: "Okay, I'll be right out."

Carrie grabs her purse and heads out the door.

Mike: "Excited?"

Carrie: "Of course!"

Carrie and Mike finally get to the new park that opened called Knoeboels. Carrie grabs Mike's hand.

Mike: "You're hands very tiny!"

Carrie: (Giggles) Shushes up you, you're lucky I wanna hold you're hand (Winks)."

Carrie and Mike walk over to this ride called The Drop. Carrie wasn't really into rides that drop, but she went on only because Mike wanted to. Turn out, Mike didn't wanna go either. But He thought Carrie wanted to go on, so He went anyways. It's only a ride for two people, so they both got on and buckled and settled in.

Carrie: "I'm gonna admit, I'm scared. I hate these rides."

Mike: "Me too, but I came on for you (Laughs)."

Carrie: "What? (Laughs) But I.... I came on for you!"

Mike: "Looks like neither of us like these rides."

The ride starts to go to the top, and Carrie starts to freak out a little. Mike holds out his hand, and Carrie grabs it just as the ride drops.

Carrie: "(Screams)."

Mike: (Laughs at Carrie)."

The ride finally ends. They decide to go on about 6 more rides. After that, they go and eat lunch.

Mike: "So are you having fun?"

Carrie: "Actually, I am. I haven't had this much fun in years."

Mike: "Good, I'm glad. I just want to make sure your happy. You deserve to be happy all the time Care."

Just then Carrie and Mike get finished eating lunch. Then, it starts to poor.

Mike: "You wanna go?!"

Carrie: "Yes!!! (Laughs)"

Carrie and Mike head home and finally arrive at Carries house.

Carrie: "Would you like to come in Mike? (Smiles)"

Mike: "Sure!"

Mike walks around to Carries side of the car and opens the door. It's still pouring, and Carrie runs up to the door. Mike stands in the rain and looks up at the sky.

Carrie: "What in the world are you doing? (Laughs)"

Mike: "Come here!!!"

Carrie looks at Mike with a 'Your crazy look'. Then she walks up to Mike and grabs his hand.

Carrie: "You know your crazy?!"

Mike: "Yeah, and your really going to say I'm crazy after I ask you this. But can I kiss you?"

Carrie lays her hand on Mike's cheek and gazes into his eyes. They both go in for the kiss.

Mike: "You know you're neighbor's are staring? (Laughs)"

Carrie: "Their just jealous."
