The next day...

Mike's P.O.V.

Lately, I've realized how bad Aubrey's attitude has been. I've been trying to help out Carrie as much as possible, But on top of that, Aubrey has been getting out of hand a lot. Which doesn't help...

Austin: "Daddy?"

Mike: "Yeah, son?"

Austin: "Aubrey is being mean to me... She won't let me watch Spongebob on the t.v."

Mike: "Okay, I'll be there in a second, alright? Just let me finish this paperwork."

Austin: "Alright daddy. But hurry, mommy promised I can watch this new episode today at 9. It's gonna start soon!!!"

Mike: "Alright, alright, buddy. Just Wait"

Carrie's P.O.V.

Andrew comes into the kitchen and runs up to me and tugs on my arm while I'm on the phone with my manager.

Austin: "Mom! Mommy!!!!!"

Carrie: "Austin, I'm on the phone. How many times do I have to tell you that it's not nice to interrupt adults when their talking? Geez."

Austin: "But mommy, you promised that I could watch Spongebob. The new one is starting soon."

I ignore Austin and continue on with my important conversation with my manager.

Austin: "Mommy promised I can have t.v. for Spongebob Aubrey! Now gimme!!!"

Austin tries snatching the remote.

Aubrey: "No, go away Austin."

Mike comes out and grabs the remote from Aubrey's hand.

Mike: "Share. It's Austin's turn. He wants to watch Spongebob and it's only about 30 minutes. You'll live."

Aubrey: "Ya know what, I'm tired of you telling me what to do... Your not even my dad! Your so annoying. I bet that baby in my mom's stomach isn't even yours. Because she does spend a lot of time with Mr. Paisley. Didn't ya know? Before you, they had a thing."

Carrie: "Aubrey!!!"

Aubrey: "Sorry mom, it had to come out somehow."

Mike: "Is that True Care?"

Carrie: "Are you serious?! No!"

Mike: "Then where did Aubrey get that?"

Carrie: "Brad's married. Brad and I used to hangout all the time, he was the only guy I trusted to talk to, and when he expressed his feelings for me, I stopped talking to Brad. He always helped me with Aubrey. She loved him to pieces. But once I knew Brad was in love with me, he sorta scared me away. I didn't want to ruin his marriage. I didn't want a relationship with him Mike. We were just friends."

Mike: "Okay, I believe you..."

Aubrey: "You can't believe a liar Mike. She'll just take you down, like she did with my dad and Brad. You'll see, thank me when ya see the real her."

Carrie: "Go to you're room Aubrey. We'll talk about this later. Whatever has been going on with you lately that your trying to break Mike and I up, it's not going to work. Your only making things worse between you and I. So just stop!"

Aubrey runs upstairs crying and Mike and I just look at each other. Something must be wrong...
