"emily~! come here~" as usual, her drunk father called her as soon as she enters the house.

"no, dad," emily said, trying not to stutter, as she slowly walks to the stairs

"em, darling~"

"no! please, dad! i'm tired of taking care of you every single day. please, don't be like this, dad!" emily said as tears rolled down from her eyes.

"yah! i can do whatever i want! who are you to boss me around?" her dad shouted back in anger, storming towards her.

emily looked at her dad in fear but she was prepared for his physical abuse today, like any other day. she always thought that this is better than being sexually abused by your own father.

how she wished that her mother and brother are still here to protect her. if she can, she would love to turn back time to where her family was a happy one.

but she knows, that it's almost impossible for all of that to happen.
