"lee jinsol," emily called as she leaned next to the girl's locker.

"emily, hi," jinsol said awkwardly.

emily just smiled before going straight to the topic, "so, i heard kuanlin told you about me. my life. my secret."

"a-ah, that. um, yes."

"did you perhaps, tell anyone?"

emily may looked calm but the way she talked is kind of intimidating. jinsol was certainly uncomfortable.

"i-i—"

"tell me, did you tell anyone?" emily raised her voice.

"i-i told somi about it in class b-but that's all! she wouldn't do such things!"

emily's eyes widened, "in class? are you crazy? was the class crowded at that time?"

jinsol slowly nodded, "y-yes! it was noisy, i don't think anyone else heard it.."

"idiot! no matter how loud it was i bet someone heard it! argh! didn't i tell you to stop ruining my life? you took kuanlin from me and now this?"

emily was in rage and was about to hit her when, again, kuanlin interrupted her.

"kang emily! what did i tell you about bullying her?" he shouted.

"she fucking told her dear bestfriend about my secret in class! but you know, now that i see it, it's all your fault!"

"for telling her? alright, i'm sorry!"

"no! for pretending to care for me in the first place. if you didn't pretend to care in the first place, none of this would happen!"

"yea, and you won't ever get your freedom, em! don't be selfish! and i never said i was pretending!"

emily huffed as tears rolled down from her eyes, "well it looks like it to me. i would like it better that way instead of having someone caring for you out of pity. i don't need that, kuanlin! you helped me just so that you can leave me once i'm 'okay'. bullshit!"

"i'm sorry," kuanlin lowered down his voice, also started to sniffle.

"it's too late, lin. thank you for breaking me," emily said and gave him a sharp glare before leaving the two alone.
