"We were gonna surprise you after your world tour ended but I guess that didn't happen." Alyssa laughed. I saw understanding flare in her eyes. "So you're the only one who isn't pregnant now." Kirsten snickered. "And I'm glad I'm not." Kelsey shrugged. She all of a sudden she ran to the bathroom. "Maybe you are!" I laughed. "I am not!" She yelled with indignation. I walked up to her, grabbed her hand, and drove her to the store to get a pregnancy tester.
We drove back to her house and as she went into the bathroom, I was really hoping it would be a positive. "Yay!" I heard her yell happily. My heart sank. "It wasn't?!" I exclaimed. "Nope!" She yelled back. "Well uh- ill see you tomorrow then." I sighed as I left.
As soon as I got home, I laid down on the couch and let maya lick my face while shilo, scar, and Edgar played in the yard. "Are you ok?" I heard Felix ask as he came in. "Yea..." I sighed. "No your not. What's wrong?" He asked getting serious and sitting down beside me on the couch. "It's just kelsey doesn't get it." I said. "Doesn't get what?" He asked. "Why we want a baby so much and she doesn't get what if means to take care of one!" I said getting really angry. "It's ok just let it out." He said rubbing my arms. "She just makes me so mad sometimes. She's all like, oh I don't want a kid I don't want anything that wants my love and attention! But-she just- UUUUGH!!!!!" I yelled. "Honey it's ok. Not everyone understands the important a of looking after a kid. Not to mention the tax reduction!" He said laughing at the end as he rubbed my belly.
