Kent's Point of View
I felt like my system's cut into different exterior time frames. I was seeing blue waves, but no sign of Fred or even my bag. My body was rushing like I was free falling, but in a forward motion.
My skin started to rip off and I could see my veins. My vision was getting blurrier by the second. My hands were visible bone structures.
It was rushing at the speed of light. I was getting ripped from existence.
Then it stopped.
I landed on grass. I was dizzy for a short while but once I got fully conscious, I stood and studied my environment.
The atmosphere had an Aurora Borealis touch to it. It shifted through different colors while clouds slowly drift on it.
The grass I landed on? Well, it was normal. Green and all that but the trees? Oh they were odd.
The trees were blue. ALIEN BLUE. Like what you see in Ben Ten. It was weird. It had no fruits. Like a pine tree, but shaped as an apple tree.
I found Fred standing up and covering his mouth like he was about to puke.
And he did.
He ran to a tree and vomited. But the tree suddenly rose with branches cracking.
You know how giants stand in video games? That's how it stood.
It was over 20 feet tall. With blue leaves as its hair and the trunk as its body. The branches seemed to form arms while the roots . . . Stayed like roots. But played as legs to the giant.
Fred screamed and scrambled towards me while I was caught in a state of shock.
I was so stunned I couldn't move my body. I stood in place as the giant opened its mouth.
"*GLURB* *BLOB* *BLOB*"
I think it meant 'why did you put your unholy juice unto my feet?'
I got relieved from the shock and grabbed my bag. The giant kept roaring blobs while Fred was crawling towards me.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" He shouted.
I turned at him and yelled back,"WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME?"
He ignored me and kept crawling. I was staring at the giant now. He stopped blobbing and started to stretch.
Why was it stretching?
I made a peace sign with my fingers and raised it to the giant.
"WE COME IN PEACE!" I shouted.
It stared directly at me. My hands started to tremble. I tried to act confident and kept raising my hand.
Good thing the girl swatted my hand down.
The giant looked triggered. He blurbed something again and this time the girl passed me and stood in front.
She planted a speaker and connected it to a mic. Then she started speaking. She was saying perfect English words but they came out wrong when the speaker boomed.
No, not wrong. Different.
The speaker was a translator. It was blurbing the way the giant did. The giant started to calm down. Then it nodded and started to shrink until it returned to a small, ordinary tree.
