(Spyro's point of view) Spyro followed his friends off of the Sky Yacht and over to the core. "Quick silver! To bind the magic within the Ancient core," said Eon. The quick silver floated from Stealth elf's hands and poured itself evenly into the runic symbols carved into the stone circle on the core.

Everyone gathered around the core and looked at the towering machine before them. "A marvelous creation!" Said Hugo as he looked up at the core with a warm smile. Arbo walked over to him and Spyro and placed his hands on their shoulders, "we are ALL marvellous creations!" He exclaimed exitedly. "The great machine is almost complete! But only one part is missing, The eternal magic source!" Said Hugo, "And the only place to find it, is within the cosmic zone." "The cosmic zone?" Spyro asked. "The cosmic zone is where the Ancient beings are said to have come from, and the only way there is by using the power of strong magic," Hugo explained, "however I have a solution to this problem!" "I'm all ears," said Spyro. "But Dragons don't have ears," said Arbo.
"As it turns out, Professor Double trouble has actually somewhat recovered from his injuries, and he should be here soon to help us," said Hugo. With that, a beam of light struck the ground, creating a cloud of green and blue smoke, when the smoke cleared, there stood Double trouble. Double trouble was a wacky tiki spirit, he had blue skin, feathers for hair, and his face looked like a carved wooden tiki mask. Everyone but Stealth elf seemed to jump at his surprise entrance, she was actually one of his students, and he couldn't easily surprise her, but the look on everyone else was priceless.
Instead of speaking actual skylandish, he spoke in the tiki spirit language and only Hugo and Stealth elf seemed to understand stand him. "Ooga booga booga boo!" Said Double trouble. "He said no time to explain, we'll chat after you guys finish the core," translated Stealth elf. It was no secret that Double trouble was a magic nut, the only things he adored that had anything to do with the other elements being teaching cadets, and the Ancient core. He motioned for Spyro, Stealth elf, Cynder and Flameslinger to approach him and waved his staff, transporting the four of them to the cosmic zone.
The cosmic zone had no sense of gravity what so ever, the four cadets floated in an endless sea of stars and comets. Suddenly, a comment came right towards Flameslinger, scaring the poor archer half to death, only for it to pass right through him like a ghost. Flameslinger was the only one who didn't really find that funny. Over in the distance, Spyro could see a big group of stars swirling around an egg-shaped bubble. "Bingo!" He shouted, and he attempted to go towards it. Nothing, with out a source of gravity, Spyro just couldn't fly to it, so he realized he'd have to get more creative. "Any ideas guys, I can't budge," said Spyro. the three of them shook their heads, and they all attempted to think of a plan.
As Flameslinger was thinking, he decided to spin around has he floated, as he moved, the momentum of his flip propelled him the way he was facing. Everyone looked at eachother. "It looks stupid to be honest, but let's do this," said Stealth elf. They all started flipping and twisting to create momentum and slowly headed towards the magic source. After a few minutes, the guys started to make a race out of it, and started flipping and spinning faster to get the lead. Spyro felt a rush of energy as he reached the Magic source and held it in his wings. But now there was a new problem, how were they going to get back?
Meanwhile, Hugo and Flynn played Skystones while Arbo strolled peacefully on the shoreline talking with the gillmen. Cali rested at the side of a tree while Sprocket and Razor were talking about tech stuff. Double trouble sat there admiring the core, when something dawned on him, *oh no!" He thought, *I forgot to tell them how to get back! And I used most of my energy to send them there!* He frantically paced, but at the same time he didn't want to cause the others to freak out. *I know!* He thought, *Spyro's a magic type! I can tell him how to use the Magic source to get him and his friends out of there!* The tiki spirit concentrated the best he could and hoped Spyro could get the message.
The four of them floated amongst the dancing stars around them. "It's really pretty," said Flameslinger, "but it would be a lot nicer if we could find a way back home." Cynder was a bit scared, "we've come so far, we've fought so many enemies to get to this point!" She became a little uneasy. Spyro was about to comfort her, when he heard a voice. "Spyro! Can you hear me? If you can, answer in your mind!" *I can hear you, whoever you are... Where are you? What do you want?* "It's me Double trouble," the voice replied, I don't have much time, but you have the power in your claws to get you and your friends out of there." *What do I do?* Spyro asked. "You must use the power of the Magic source to get back to Skylands!" Said Double trouble, "focus your power and think about going to Skylands! We will meet again..."
After Double trouble's voice faded away, Spyro told his friends to hold onto his wings, after that, he thought really hard. He could feel the Magic coursing within him, the energy flowing through his veins. He thought of the ancient core, the academy, and everyone there who had helped him and his friends get this far in their quest. Soon, the stars created a vortex that him and his friends were pulled into. They were going home.
