(Spyro's point of view)
As the Dread Yacht "gently landed" Spyro flew off to find Hugo and tell him about Flynn. When he found him he was setting up a very odd looking telescope. It had a dial on it with a small arrow in the center and ten multi-colored gems arranged in a circle, the arrow was set to the sky blue gem. "Oh, hello Spyro," Hugo greeted, "Have you found a pilot?" "He's a little rusty, but yes," Spyro answered, "what's up with the telescope?" "After reading the documents, I found out the ancients planned for this kind of emergency," Hugo began, "each gem stands for each of the ten elements, the first one we need is the eternal air source." "The eternal air source?" Spyro asked, "where is it?" "It's located in cloud castle," replied Hugo, "where the wild wind sages first found out how to harness the power of the storm in the first place." Hugo adjusted the lens and wrote down a set of coordinates. "Give this to your pilot, the sooner we can find the first source, the better"

Spyro nodded and flew back to the Dread Yacht where Flameslinger, Stealth elf, Cynder and Flynn were waiting. "So, did he find out where to head first?" Asked Stealth elf. "Yes, we're headed for a place called cloud castle first," Spyro replied. He handed Flynn the coordinates, Flynn walked towards the ship's helm and typed them into a digital compass. (The only thing on the ship in good condition.) The ship took off and they headed further west.

It took 6 hours to get there, it was a castle built quite similar to the way the academy was, high gray walls and sky blue rooftops, but the castle was within a giant swirling storm. "This is as close as I can take you," said Flynn, "the storm is too rough." The 4 friends jumped off the ship, and made their way towards the castle, the wind was raging wildly. "Could this be because of the air source!?" Shouted Flameslinger, the storm was getting louder as they approached. "Possibly!" Shouted Stealth elf. Spyro tried digging his claws into the ground in order to get closer, but the wind was too rough, and he got caught in the tornado. "Spyro!" Yelled Cynder, without thinking she jumped in after him. As much as they wanted to help, Stealth elf and Flameslinger knew their lack of flying ability wouldn't help at all.

The two dragons swirled around in the storm for what seemed like hours, until they got sucked into the eye of the storm, right through the front door of the castle. They rolled down the main hall all the way to the end of the room in between the two staircases with a crash. "Owww........." Spyro groaned, "you alright Cynder?"  "Yeah...ow", Cynder replied. The two dragons looked around them, the castle was dark, the only light was coming through the windows, everything was a sky blue color except for the stone walls. "Where do you think it could be?" Asked Cynder, she looked at the huge staircases before them. "Only one way to find out," said Spyro. They each flew up a staircase, searching high and low, in every chamber, Cynder found some old documents that the wind sages must have written, so she picked them up thinking Hugo would be interested. Spyro flew all throughout the castle, till he came to a chamber where the wind was blowing all around, all that was in the chamber was a pedestal, and on the pedestal was what appeared to be an egg-shaped bubble with a small tornado swirling around in it. *Could this be it?* Spyro thought to himself. The wind in the chamber wasn't as strong as the storm outside, so Spyro was able to walk in and use his wings to carefully lift the strange object from it's perch. The wind in the chamber stopped blowing, and the storm outside, slowly died down till it was nothing but a cool breeze.

After finding Cynder, Spyro was able to fly out of the castle and meet up with Flameslinger and Stealth elf, with the eternal air source in claw. They all head back to the Dread Yacht, and set a course back to the academy.
