I smile at the puppy then tried to get Jackson out of my head as I answered his question "I'm ok so far dad and by the way, I named the puppy Neige".
I heard my dad laugh and watched as he shook his head" french....well tomorrow we will go and get Neige her tag" I nod then said "alright dad ...tomorrow", he sighs rubbing the back of his neck then walked back inside.
I sigh and looked at Neige as she looked at me with her head tilted.
"Ok fine I learned french in school ....end of story" I told her not wanting to think about it.
I sigh as she tilted her head the other way and looked at me with those puppy eyes.
"No I dont want to talk about it Neige ...don't give me that look" I told her then looked as the sunset.
I felt a tiny paw sit on my lap I sigh and looked down as she laid her head on my lap.
I pet her head as I looked at the sunset then laugh "you won't give up till you know ".
She rested her head on my lap as she barked in response as if she actually understood me and was trying to talk back.
"OK....fine...I'll tell you what happened Neige just please dont make me tell this story ever again besides your the only person Ive told this story".
She lifted her head and looked at me waiting making me laugh "OK geez it all happened a long time ago freshman year in French Class".
I sigh not wanting to tell this story but I had to tell it eventually, I don't know why Im telling her.
