Kanato x Scared Reader

Y/n's POV

I ran, and ran, and ran. Deeper and deeper into the forest. I was scared. So scared. I could hear his laughter throughout the dark, but could not see him.

"Y/n-san, where are you?" Kanato cooed. I shuddered and kept running.

"Come now Y/n, don't be difficult. You know how thirsty I am." Kanato said, his voice sounding more psychotic. I was so focused on where to find him I tripped on my own foot and fell nearby some thorny vines, trapping my ankles in them. I struggled to break free but was stuck. Suddenly his face popped out from the behind a nearby tree.

"Found you!" he chimed. I let out a scared gasp and my eyes widened. Kanato chuckled as he crept closer. He pinned you down roughly on the ground. I whimpered as he gently stroked my cheek.

"Don't worry Y/n, I'll make sure you feel good in no time." he said. He pushed my hair aside and bit into me roughly. I screamed and sat up quickly, looking around frantically. I was back in my bedroom, still nighttime. It was a dream? I was still trembling, and tears streamed down my cheeks. 

"What just....happened?" I said weakly. My hand hurt so I looked down at it, surprised to see my palm bleeding. I looked over at my drawer, and saw a broken mirror there, its glass fragments close enough to reach.

"That's right, I dropped my mirror before bed, and I guess I touched the glass in my sleep." I said to myself. I wiped my tears away and stood up. I had to clean this up before the Sakamaki brothers found it, especially Kanato. I've haven't been bitten yet, but I don't want to be bitten now. I rushed down the hall quietly and looked for the bathroom.

Kanato's POV

I shifted slightly in my bed. I couldn't sleep. I wasn't tired. I looked down at Teddy, who I held close to my chest.

"Ne, Teddy. Can you sleep?" I asked. I made his head shake no and sighed.

"Me either." I said. Suddenly I smelled the scent of blood. Y/n's blood. Was she hurt? I sat up quickly and went to go find her. I looked around the hallways until I spotted her just heading to the bathroom. 

"Y/n-san." I said. Y/n flinched and turned to face me, hiding her hand behind her back.

Y/n's POV

"K-Kanato-kun, w-what are you doing here?" I asked nervously.

"I smelled your blood from my room. Are you injured?" Kanato asked. I shook my head. 

"N-No...." I said quietly. Kanato frowned.

"Usoda." he stated. I flinched, despite the fact he didn't say it in a stern voice.

"Your hiding your hand. Let me see it." Kanato said. I hesitated, but knew if I din't do what he wanted he would get mad. I held out my bleeding hand and his eyes widened.

"Y/n-san." he said. He took my hand in his and examined it. I watched nervously as his eyes were coated with a slight bloodlust.

"Does it hurt, you poor thing." he said. Licked some of the blood up and I whimpered. Kanato panted a little before looking up at me with a small smile.

"Forgive me, Y/n-san. But, could you spare a bit of your blood for me? I'm terribly thirsty." he said. My eyes widened as he backed me up to a wall. He placed both hands on the wall, each near the sides of my hand, trapping me. I trembled as he gently cupped my cheek.

"Don't worry Y/n-san." Kanato said. He pushed my hair aside and leaned close to my neck. My instincts kicked in.

"Kanato no!" I cried as I shoved him away. He looked at me surprised. I placed my hands on my head, tears streaming down my cheeks.

"Please, don't...." I said weakly. I felt hands on my shoulders and flinched.

"Y/n-san, I'm not gonna hurt you." Kanato said. I looked up at him with teary eyes. He gave me a concerned look.

Kanato's POV

I gently held her cheek, feeling her wet tears.

"Y-You won't?" Y/n said weakly.

"Of course not, I only wanted to quench my thirst. However, if you are this scared, then I shall leave you be." I said. Y/n looked at me surprised.

"However, I would at least like to bandage your hand." I said. I went into the bathroom and grabbed the first aid kit. Then I went back to her. She was silent while I patched up her hand. When I was done I smiled.

"There, does that feel better?" I asked. Y/n was silent.

"Y/n-san?" I asked concerned.

"Kanato-kun, gomenasai." Y/n said weakly. I smiled and gave her a small hug.

"Its okay, everything is alright." I said. I rubbed her back and gave her small kisses on top of her head. Soon she spoke up.

"Kanato-kun.....if your thirsty, you can still.....you know." she said. We pulled back and looked at her surprised.

"Are you sure?" I asked. Y/n nodded. I gave a small smile.

"Alright then, which side would you like me to do?" I asked. Y/n pointed to the right side of her neck.

"T-This side." she said, trembling. I gently pushed her hair aside and touched her neck gently.

"Here?" I asked softly. She nodded, a small tear streaming down her cheek. I wiped her tear away and kissed her forehead.

"This won't hurt Y/n-san. I promise." I said softly. Y/n gave me an unsure look but nodded. I leaned close to her neck and gave a small lick across her skin, causing her to moan softly. Then I gently bit into her neck, trying not to hurt her. Y/n was tense, but soon relaxed as I drank her blood. It tasted marvelous. I ran my hands on her waist, trying to keep her safe. When I was done I pulled away and gave her a gentle smile. She looked at me surprised.

"Did that hurt?" I asked. She shook her head.

"Good." I said. I took her hand in mine.

"Then let's go to bed." I said. I led her back to her bedroom. I pulled her covers over and looked at her.

"Go on." I said. Y/n hesitated but climbed into bed. I tucked her in and smiled.

"Get some sleep." I said. Y/n frowned, more tears spilling out of her eyes.

"I-I'm too scared." she said weakly. I sat beside her.

"Alright." I said. I pushed Teddy into her arms.

"Then Teddy shall protect you tonight." I said. Y/n smiled and hugged Teddy tightly.

"Would you like me to sing to you?" I asked. Y/n nodded. I sang to her softly until I saw she was fast asleep. I smiled and kissed the top of her head.

"Goodnight Y/n-san. You too Teddy." I said softly. I stood up and went back to my bedroom for some well needed rest.
