Y/n's P.O.V.

"Damn, now where'd that other bottle go?" Reiji muttered, looking around his table. I glanced around and saw it in front of me, so I grabbed it and handed it over to him. "Here you go." I said. He looked to me, grabbed the bottle and resumed his experiment.

Figures, he doesn't say thank you. But that's not a surprise to me anymore. He still looks down upon me, despite the fact that we share the same amount of knowledge. However, he can never look past the fact I'm human. Cause of that, he'll probably never look at me as an equal....more or less return the feelings I have for him.

"Will you please retrieve the liquid hydrogen for me? I shall need it for this formula." Reiji said. I glanced at the formula from his notes, went to cabinent and grabbed a container, returning it to him.

"Actually it says you'll need water. It looks close, but not quite." I replied. Reiji snapped a glare at me, seeming ready to yell at me. However he glanced back down at the formula, blinked in surprise and took the container from me.

"I suppose....you are correct." he said, adding the water to the mix.

"Are you feeling alright? You've been making a couple mistakes tonight." I said. Reiji sighed, taking off his glasses and rubbing at his face. He seemed tired, or I assumed he was with the light bags under his eyes.

"I just....need some tea." he said.

"Do you wish for me to make it?" I asked. Reiji nodded, and I hurried to make tea. When I was finished, I gave him a cup of his tea while he sat down in one of his chairs. He lifted the cup to his lips and took a small sip, then set the cup on the table with a small smile of satisfaction. I had learned quickly on how to perfect his tea, as to make him happy.

He looked up at me, but frowned suddenly, making me puzzled. Did I do something wrong? "Did you not want a beverage?" he asked.

"Hmm? Oh, no course not. I mean, I know better then to touch your tea." I replied. He raised a brow. "And you do not wish to even take a seat?" he said, referring to the empty chairs, which I admit, looked very comfy.

"Only if I have your permission." I replied. Reiji narrowed his eyes, intertwining his own fingers together as he looked at me. I resisted the urge to flinch. Did I make him mad?

"Did I say something that upset you?"

"....no, however....I am very puzzled." he replied. I blinked, feeling more puzzled myself. What was he talking about? "Y/n, you are nothing like the other sacrificial brides. And I don't just mean your intelligence," Reiji said, pushing his glasses up slightly, "you seem more...aware then the others. You seem to know your place, and you never argue. You are strangely.....submissive."

"Does that not please you?" I asked.

"I am merely confused as to why you are so submissive. You know we are vampires, and yet it doesn't seem to cause you to rebel, like Yui does." he suddenly stood up. "Why do you not resist?" he asked. I found my gaze wandering to the floor.

"Well....I know it won't do me any good to fight against you. Even if I get scared, I know better then to resist. Otherwise it'll only be worse for everyone. Besides, I want to make all of you guys as pleased as I can. Especially you, Reiji-kun." I replied. There was nothing else to say. That was the truth. Reiji narrowed his eyes at me.

"So, no matter the circumstance, you shall not resist? Even if you are afraid?" he asked. I nodded. He began to walk towards me, but I stayed where I was. Before I knew it, I was pinned to the wall, and I stared wide eyed at the black-silver haired man before me.

"How about now?" he asked. I swallowed nervously and shook my head. "I won't resist." I replied in the calmest voice I could muster up. He began to lean close to my neck, slowly opening his mouth, revealing his fangs. I turned my head away and shut my eyes, allowing him to do what he wanted. I waited for him to start, feeling his hot breath against my skin. However he suddenly pulled away, backing away.

"Foolish girl...." he muttered. I blinked, further puzzled.

"Reiji-"

"Perhaps being submissive has helped you in the past, however, being too submissive can also result in you getting harmed. It makes you an easier target. Remember that." Reiji said sternly. I frowned, placing my hands on my chest.

"Gomenasai...." he sighed, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Do not think much of it. I...only don't want you to get hurt." I was surprised by his response, and looked up to speak, but he suddenly kissed the top of my head. I felt my face flush a deep shade of red. He walked over to the pot of tea and poured another cup. Then he looked over at me.

"Come, I shall share my tea with you. Then you may have a seat and we may take a break from our project." he said. I blinked, trying to find words to fill my mouth before realizing what he had said.

"Y-Yes! Arigato!" I said.

Laito's P.O.V.

"Ugh, this morning sure is boring! Where's Bitch-chan?! I'm thirsty!" I whined to myself, wandering around the mansion. I spotted Reiji's lab up ahead, seeing the door was open a crack. Oh yeah, she and Reiji were working on some sort of project weren't they? Maybe she's in there. I hurried to the door and peeked inside.

"Bitch-chan, are you in here~? I'm thris-" I stopped however when I looked towards the right side of the room. Y/n was indeed in here, but she wasn't alone. She was with Reiji. And the two of them were sitting in a chair, with Y/n on his lap. They were both sleeping soundly, with Y/n in his arms and resting her head against his shoulder. They looked so....peaceful.

I chuckled, placing a finger to my lips.

"Hmm, think I've changed my mind. I'll let the two of them sleep a little longer~" I purred, slowly closing the door.

(I know this one is also kinda short, but I hope it was good anyways. Feel free to keep requesting in the comment section below)
