Reiji x Cheerful Reader

Y/n's POV

I hummed happily as I flipped through the pages of my favorite book. I was in Reiji's lab, sitting on the couch. I was kinda bored. I wanted Reiji to play with me (not in the dirty way), but he was busy doing some stupid experiment. Okay, not stupid, but I was just that impatient. I looked over at Reiji, who was mixing some chemicals into a beaker. Then he grabbed his note book and watched as the chemicals changed color. I leaped up and trotted over to him.

"Are you done yet?" I asked.

"Not yet. I need to do a few more experiments." Reiji said flatly.

"Then you'll play?" I asked hopefully.

"I never said that Y/n." Reiji said. I pouted. We both watched the beaker for a moment, Reiji writing on his notebook.

"Are you done now?" I asked.

"No." Reiji said. Another ten seconds later.

"How about now?" I asked. Reiji's eyebrow twitched.

"No." he said. Ten more seconds.

"Now?" I asked. 

"No." Reiji repeated, a bit more annoyance in his tone. Five more seconds.

"Now-"

"You will be silent until I am finished! Or I shall have to punish you." Reiji said sternly. I flinched but nodded. The chemicals in the beaker started to bubble. Reiji smiled and wrote more in his notebook. Then he set it down.

"Now to just add one more ingredient, and I shall move on to the next experiment." he said, seemingly pleased. With that he went to one of his cabinets and started to search through it. After a minute he searching he growled.

"Where is it?" he said. My eyes gazed at his notebook. Being the curious nosy girl I was, I peeked over at it. On it were a bunch of formulas and notes, but at the bottom were three beaker drawings. Two were scratched out, but one was still avaliable. I spotted a beaker that looked just like it, with a similar formula on it. Sure only one number was different, but what's one number gonna change? I smiled and took the beaker.

"Reiji I found it!" I said cheerfully. Reiji gave me a confused look. 

"What do you-"

"Don't worry, I'll put it in for you!" I chimed. I started to pour the chemical in. Reiji's eyes widened.

"NO WAIT-" as soon as the chemicals mixed in, it exploded.

Reiji's POV

We both stood there, frozen. The beaker was nothing but ashes now. Both our faces were covered in black, and Y/n coughed out a small puff of black smoke. I looked at the ashes and growled.

"You foolish girl! What were you thinking?!" I snapped. Y/n flinched. 

"I-I just wanted to help, so we could play-"

"Do you have any idea what you've done! You've destroyed my project which I have been working on for weeks! And that's not the worst part! You could've created a poisonous gas or something far worse! You could've killed us!" I snapped. I looked at my notes, which were on flames now. I took it and shook on it, and my notes disappeared into ashes in my hand. I sighed.

"Not to mention, my notes are destroyed, so it will take a while for me to even figure out what I even did." I said. Y/n looked at the ground.

"I-I'm so sorry Reiji...." she said. I said nothing for a moment, wiping the black off my face. She did the same with her sleeve.

"Reiji...please forgive me." she said. I didn't answer. I was too furious.

"Reiji....." In one swift movement I shoved her against my book case, pinned her wrists above her, and sank my fangs into her soft neck. She cried out in pain, then started to squirm.

"Ow ow, Reiji stop! Please!" she said. I pulled away for a moment.

"I told you that you would be punished didn't I?" I said, licking her blood off my lips.

"Y-Yes but- Ow!" she yelped as I bit into her neck again. She tried to helplessly squirm away but it was no use. I was so angry. She was such a fool! She could've gotten herself killed! She could've gotten hurt! Tears were in her eyes as I bit down harder.

"Reiji I'm sorry! I-I'll clean up the mess! I stay out of your lab! Just please stop, this hurts!" she said. I pulled away from her and glared at her hard.

"You idiot! Its more then that! You could've been hurt! You could've killed yourself!" I snapped. Y/n looked at me surprised.

"I will not allow any more stupid accidents like this, especially if you are to be harmed! Do I make myself clear?!" I said sternly. Y/n looked down at the ground, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"I understand...." she said weakly. My eyes widened. Then my expression softened. I wiped the blood away from my mouth and sighed.

"Y/n...." I said. I went too far. I pulled her into a hug and gently rubbed my back across her back.

"I apologize. My actions were too far. I was just worried was all." I said. She sobbed softly and I hushed.

"There now, its all over now. Please don't cry." I said. Y/n looked up at me and nodded. I smiled and wiped her tears away.

"Perhaps....I was too caught up in my experiments." I said. I kissed the top of her head.

"I suppose we can, go into town, if you wish." I said. The made Y/n beam.

"Yay!" she said in a baby voice. I chuckled as we left the house and went into town.
