5- Changes.

Taehyung's POV:

I have a history in Daegu. It's not a very beautiful one. I cannot believe the guys found me. I really wanted to start over when I returned to Seoul but I guess some pasts cannot be buried no matter how much we try to hide it and I guess I will have to live with that. 

I got a call from an Unknown number and I later figured out it was Kai, Luhan, and Lay. The guys I used to hang out with when we moved back to Daegu 6 years ago. Our friendship was good at the beginning but later went downhill when I didn't want to work for a gang they were involved with. We had a fight which caused Luhan's arm to fracture and he was not able to play Basketball anymore. I got into lots and lots trouble after that so my Father sent me abroad. It was more like I ran away from them. Now that they have returned... I don't know what is going to happen next.

I went to the Park to meet them and talk things out. But things got heated and I lost my temper. It didn't turn out well and to add the chaos, Mimi got involved. I had no idea where she came from! This girl must think we're still in elementary school, trying to save me from others. She even fainted while running, she must not have been healthy like she used to be. Ahh! Why does trouble keep following me?! I carried her home and let her sleep on the couch. Thank God my parents are not home or I will have to explain my bruises. I went to clean myself up and heard Mimi slowing walking out.

Taehyung: Hey, Kim Tae Rin.

She turned around slowly and looked at me in shock.

"Hey... Kim Taehyung"

Taehyung: Is that a way to greet an old friend?

Mimi: It's been a long time Kim Taehyung but right now... I have to get going..it's very late and you know my dad...

Taehyung: Okay. Okay... I'll walk you home and explain it to your parents.

Mimi: No..you don't have to.. What will you tell them anyway... I'll be going!

Taehyung: Hey! Wait for me. You only have one shoe on!

Mimi's POV:

I ran out from Tae's house and he followed me right behind. There was a cut on his lips and it was bleeding. I handed him my handkerchief.

Taehyung: Thanks.

The walk was quiet and awkward. I really don't know how I should start the conversation. I just wanted to reach home quickly.I was walking half barefoot as I threw my left shoe earlier! Aish! I shouldn't have done that! Just then-

Taehyung: Hey wear my shoes for now.

Mimi: It's okay.. Then you'll have to walk barefoot.

Taehyung: Just do it. What were you thinking anyway?? Throwing your shoe at those punks.

I just kept quiet and wore his shoes.
There was a long awkward silence again and we finally reached my place after a 15min walk that felt like forever.

Mimi: I'll be going in now. Thanks

Taehyung: You really don't want me to explain it to your parents?

Mimi: It's okay. I'll just make something up.

Taehyung: If you say so. Take care of yourself, Mimi. You look so thin and frail. You even fainted running a short distance.

Mimi: (I smiled) Go... Go now

Taehyung: Okay... Sleep well

And as I was just about to open the gates...

Taehyung: Mimi...See you at school tomorrow. Don't be a stranger. I missed you. Really really missed you.

I just nodded and ran inside. I missed him too. I guess we'll be the old us again.

Mom and Dad were in the living room watching the late night news. I succeeded in sneaking up the stairs. It was easy because I barely leave my room on weekends so they must have thought I was sleeping. Bullseye!

I had so many thoughts and questions in my mind as I lay on my bed. Who were those guys? What kind of person has Tae become? Will they disturb Tae again?

The Next Day.

I reached class and went straight to my seat. Hilda and Jimin were busy solving riddles on their phone. While Seulgi was watching them with sore eyes full of jealousy. I wanted to laugh at her face but it has always been better to just ignore her.

Tae reached with a wide box smile on his face.

Taehyung: Good morning Miss Mimi!

I scoffed and ignored him.

Class starts. And great! There was a new transfer student from Daegu. I was very curious. Could it be one of the guys from last night?... Tae and I looked at each other wide-eyed but no... It was a girl.

Transfer student: Good day Everyone. My name is Jung Titina from Daegu. Please take care of me.

I saw Taehyung's face lit up with a smile and the girl also saw him and smiled at him.

Who is she?

An extra table was put into our classroom and the girl had to sit alone.

I could feel that Tae wanted to talk to her.

Mimi: Do you know her?

Taehyung: Mm. While I was in Daegu...

The teacher interrupted and went on with his lectures..

I realized I have missed a lot of parts in Taehyung's life...
