16 - Timings

I have been honest with myself and my feelings towards Taehyung. But I can't bring myself to really accept it everytime it hits me with reality.

What if he finds out and it ruins our friendship or making it super awkward?

Mom woke me up early in the morning and we went to the hospital to visit Tae's Dad.

Mrs.Kim and Mom hugged each other comforting each other.

I was still so sleepy so I went up to the hospital rooftop to refresh.

Tae was there.

Tae: I didn't expect to see you here.

Mimi: I came with Mom. I feel so sleepy.

Tae: You should have just sent your mom.

Mimi: I wanted to see your dad too.

Tae: Is he doing fine?

Mimi: How would I know? He's still not waking up.

Tae: Doctors says the chances are 50/50. He's completely in a vegetative state for now.

Mimi: Hey, Cheer up. He'll be fine.

Tae: Are you starting school today?

Mimi: Mm.. What about you?

Tae: Depends on Dad's condition.. I don't know..

Mimi: Okay.. See you soon then.

We got home and I wore my uniform and went to school with Hilda.

It was same old same old except for our results were announced. 

Hilda got 1st as usual, Chanyeol 2nd. He could never beat her no matter how much he tries..

I got 7th. Not bad. Jimin got 8th. Titina got 5th. Jungkook got 10th and Taehyung got 24th. This guy has not been studying.

As soon as the lunch break bell rang Jungkook ran towards me and gave me a hug.

Titina: Excuse me passing through.

Jungkook: Congrats Tina. On 5th place.

Titina: Was that supposed to be Sarcasm?

Jungkook: Noo.. Not at all.. 5th place is veeeryy good. Will it be good enough for your Dad though?

She glared at him and walked out.

Mimi: You know each other?

Jungkook: Not really.

Mimi: What was that all about?

Jungkook: Tina's father is the type to care a lot about her but at the same time pushes her to be the best. He wouldn't be happy with 5th place.

Mimi: How do you even know this?

Jungkook: Perks of being the Director's son. Let's go eat.

He smiled and held my hand.

Mimi: You go ahead I have got something to do.

Jungkook: Hey, I'm hungry.

Mimi: Eat with Namjoon for today. Mm? It's really important.

Jungkook: Aren't you eating?

Mimi: I'll eat after school. I ate in the morning.

Jungkook: Okay then. See you.

He went with his brothers.

I went up to the roof as I saw Titina going up earlier. She was sitting on one of the old benches sobbing.
