21 - First Snow

Mimi's POV:

We all went back to sleep after watching the sunrise and woke up at evening. It was damn cold and we didn't bring hot packs with us. Bummer...

Mimi: Hey Tina... where is the nearest convenience store from here?

Titina: I think it's about 30 minutes away...Why?

Mimi: I think we forgot our hot packs.

Titina: Shit. The weather is getting colder... I think it might be snowing anytime soon.

Mimi: I think I should go get them and I'm craving for meatballs.

Titina: Alone?? I'll go with you.

Mimi: No.. it's okay. I'll be back soon.

I grabbed my jacket and walked out. It was freezing but I'm used to the cold weather and I like it much more than Summer.

I didn't realize it at first but I heard footsteps behind me.

A little paranoid, I turned around slowly to see Taehyung walking with his head down.

Mimi: Oh hey.

Taehyung: What kind of girl walks alone at a place she has never been before? Are you stupid?

Mimi: If you're going to be mean, just go back, I can go alone.

He kept quiet and just followed me.

We bought stuff at the store without saying a word to each other. I was a bit frustrated because everything became so different so quickly. I was not prepared to lose Taehyung but we were not getting any better.

After getting what we need we were walking back.

He took the paper bags from me and carried them even though they were not heavy.

Taehyung: Hey Mimi...

Mimi: Mmm?

Taehyung: How are you?

Mimi: You decided to finally speak to me now Huh?

Taehyung: You don't know anything...

Mimi: How am I supposed to? Am I a mind reader or something?

Taehyung: How are things going with Jungkook?

Mimi: What do you mean?

Taehyung: But you guys were.. you know.. from what I saw..

Mimi: Is that why you have been ignoring me for so long?

I looked down feeling somewhat sad and not knowing what to say...

So this is why Taehyung has been ignoring me this whole time... I guess I must have hurt his feelings. I just kept quiet and walked.

Taehyung: But that's a relief..knowing you guys are just friends...

The situation was super awkward for me... ugh.. why does he have to see?...

Just then...

It started snowing...

It was the first snow and it was so beautiful... I looked up and then closed my eyes for a moment.. feeling the snow... I wanted to cry.

Taehyung was amazed by it too.. he held his hands out catching the little flakes...
