"I want a pup. I want to fulfill what i've promise 10 years ago. Ice"

Shock registered my mind the moment he spat those words.

Seryoso siyang nakatingin sa akin habang hinihintay ang magiging sagot ko.

I am speechless.

Halo halong emosyon ang nararamdaman ko kaya hindi ko magawang mag-react sa sinabi niya.

He stood up and sit beside me. This time, hindi na ako nakalipat ng pwesto. I am too occupied with what he said.

Kane want a pup?

What the hell??

"Ice" he grab my atention

But for those mixed emotion. One emotion stood up.

Rage. That is what i feel.

"Why do you procreate with your whore? Kane. Bakit ako? Thera can do that for you"

Iglap lang ay tumilapon ang lamesa sa harap namin.

I didn't flinch. Matatag akong nakatingin lang sa galit na galit niyang anyo.

Puro mura ang naririnig ko sa kanya habang pinag-pipiraso ang lamesang inihagis niya. Binalikan niya ako ng galit na tingin at lumapit sa akin.

"Are you out of your mind? Ice? Why would i procreate with Thera? For goddess'sake! You are my mate!"

Napatayo na rin ako dahil sa galit.

"Yes! I am your mate! But Thera is your whore! That is the reason why you didn't kill Thera for disrespecting me? And you embarrased me in front of your whore!"

Breath. Ice. Breath.

"I didn't know that you want me to kill someone for a lame reason. Ice"

Natigilan ako at ganun rin siya. Nangingitim na mata ang ibinato ko sa kanya. Kumirot ang nasa loob ng dibdib ko. I don't know how to handle this pain. All i know is Kane is a totally jerk and an assh*le.

Is that lame?

Disrespecting me is a lame?

Parang gusto kong tumawa. I felt insulted all the time.

Hindi na ako nakapagsalita dahil sa sinabi niya. Parang may bara sa lalamunan ko.  Nanatiling nakatingin ang matigas kong anyo.

"I-Ice" he stutter. Mukhang ngayon na siguro nagsinsink in ang mga sinabi niya.

"I'm sorr---"

"Stop!"

Malungkot niya akong tinignan. I can see regrets on his eyes. Finally, realization hit his system.

"You just prove how low you think of me. Kane. Go back to your whore before i kill her"

Namumula ang mga mata ni Kane habang taas baba ang dibdib nito. Kane is trying to supressed his rage. And so i am.

Ano? Siya pa ngayon ang galit?

Lumapit siya sa aking unti unti habang tutok ang atensyon sa aking mga kilos.

"Are you aware on what you are talking about. Ice?. Thera is your brother's god*mn mate-to-be. Why would she will be my fcking whore?"

Mas lalo akong natigilan dahil sa sinabi niya.
