I stayed in the hotel room for the rest of the trip, unfriending anyone from Tennesee on Facebook. Root stayed with me most of the time. She tried to get me to talk but I refused. Finally Saturday came and we could leave. My headpohnes didn't come out for the plane ride home, or the cab ride back to the library. Finch opened up the door and greeted us, taking my bags in. He gave some mney to Shaw so she could get home.

I smelled Indian food, wrinkling my nose. I wasn't a fan of Indian food. I took my bag to my room and threw it on the floor. I looked at my dresser, there was a new picture on it. I took a closer look and saw my mom's dead body, with the police tape. I was crying on a rock, looking at momma. I threw the picture on the ground and the glass frame shattered. Finch came to my room.

"What happened?" I picked up the picture and showed him, also showing him the text messages I had recieved. "Oh my God" Finch murmured, flipping the picture around. There was writing on the back.

A dear reminder of June 4th, 2013 for dear Kiley.

Finch escorted me out of the library and to his car. He started driving and I saw where he was going. The police station.

It was hustling inside the police station. He almost dragged me over to a desk where Fusco and Carter were talking.

"What can we help you with Harold?" Carter asked, looking up.

"I fear someone is stalking Kiley and I know she never talked to you yet."

"Okay, Fusco will talk to her. I'll handle the stalking part." Carter nodded to Fusco. "Use room C, it's not an interrogation." Fusco said okay.

"Kiley, I need your phone to show to Ms. Carter. Can I have it?" Finch held his hand out as I placed my iPhone in the palm of his hand. Fusco waved me over to a room marked C.

'Okay Ms. Kiley. Can you tell me about what happened to your mother?"

"I found her by the river June 4th of this year" I began shakily. "She always went out by the river to read the Bible. I was going out for a jog. My jogging trail consisted of a run around the river to finish. I saw something red on a rock so I went over to look. When i did, I saw my momma's arm on the lower part of the rock ledge. I peered down and saw her stabbed multiple times in the neck, chest and face." I started crying, remembering. "She was dead, it was too late. I called 911 and waited." I barely finished because I was crying so hard. Fusco grabbed my hand.

"Thank you, Ms. Kiley. I know this is a very tough time for you. I'm worried about you, so I'm going to give you the business card of an adolscent therapist. I want you to set up an appointment with him, I'll check with your uncle Harold to make sure you set one up and see him." Fusco handed me a business card and led me out of the room. Fusco held a grip on my arm as he walked me over to Finch.

They exchanged a few private words and Finch led me out of the police station. We drove home in silence. When we got back to the library, Reese was standing outside with Shaw. They held up bags of Chinese food. We all walked in except I headed for my room.

"Kiley come back here please." Reese called me this time. I obeyed not because I was scared but that Chinese food smelled really good.

"Kiley, we need to talk" it was Finch speaking to me this time. "Do you still have the card for the therapist?" I pulled out the card from my pocket and handed it to him. He looked it over and dialed a number on his phone. "Hi, I'd like to make an appointment for Kiley Anderson. Thursday at 3 p.m. Thank you so much." He hit end on the phone and put it back in his pocket.

"I'll take you to your appointment."

"Is that all" I asked in a small voice.

"No" Finch replied putting some noodles in his mouth. Reese and Shaw just sat silently watching me. "Kiley we all want to help you. Detective Carter promised to help out with your stalking case."

"Can we not refer to it as that" I snapped. I already had to deal with a stalker once, I didn't want that paranoia again.

"Okay" Finch replied. "What would you like to refer to it as?"

"I don't know! How about we jsut don't talk about it and hope it goes away." I didn't mean to get sassy but I did. I got up, put my carton of food on the coffee table and went out the door. I headed to my car, got in and drove off before Finch, Reese or Shaw could get me.

I drove past the police station, having to wait for a light to change to turn right. My elbow bumped the unlock door button. "Shit" I muttered, just as my passenger door opened up. It was Root. She let herself in and pressed the lock button. "It's green" she said, pointing at the light. I turned right.

"What the hell? How did you find me?"

"Finch told me you left and She talked to me, gave me your location."

"Who's She?"

"The machine."

"What? I thought only Finch had control of the machine."

"He does, I'm also an user too" Root smiled and told me to turn left. She told me when to turn and when. Soon, the streets started looking familiar. Root was taking me back to the library.

"Turn left" Root instructed. I saw the edge of the library. I turned right but braked suddenly because Reese was standing out in the middle of my lane. He came over to my door, unbuckled me and Root took me to her lap. Reese pulled a quick U-turn back towards the library.

"Kiley..." Reese started.

"Don't even" I was pissed off. Reese stopped the car and grabbed my arm.

"Kiley, don't ever take off like that again."

"Whatever" I rolled my eyes. Root decided I was a child and carried me in. I shot Reese a death glare as he let Root in. Root put me down on the couch. I tried to get back up but Shaw grabbed my shoulders.

"Sit" she nearly growled.

Finch sat down on the opposite couch. "Kiley, I understand you are going through a difficult time, you have a lot of mixed feelings, and are angry about what your father did. But you can't keep running away everytime there's a new problem or it gets tough."

"Well what am I supposed to do?"

"Let us help you."

"I don't want help. I want my momma back." I felt tears coming. "I... don't want to remember the past month. I just want things to go back to the way they were." I put my head in my hands, starting to cry. Sobbing within a minute, I felt a comforting hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see Finch sitting next to me. I side hugged him and sobbed harder. I tried to speak but couldn't. He kept patting my head and murmuring different things. I fell asleep after a while.
