We rode the rest of the way home in silence. I was the first one in the library so I headed straight to my bedroom. When I had left it, the bed was unmade, I had clothes strewn across the covers and floor, and I had some books scattered. When I opened up my door, I stepped inside a tidy room. My books were in a neat stack on top of my dresser, my floor looked cleaner, there were no clothes anywhere and my bed was made up.

I walked back out to the living room where everyone else had settled in. Finch was giving root a lecture but stopped when he saw me.

"Thank you" I said simply. I was at a loss for words.

"You're welcome, I saw your room was in disarray and I wanted to help."

I just stood there silent, rocking back and forth on my heels. I looked at everyone, they all stared back.

"Kiley" Reese began slowly, "is everything alright?" There was genuine concern in his voice. I nodded yes and headed straight back into my room. Looking at the top of my book stack, I saw my phone. It was fully charged up, nothing had changed. But it seemed everything had changed.

Later on, after actually watching some episodes of futurama, I headed back out to the living room. No one was in there, I didn't hear any noise from Finchs room. I was home alone. I suddenly felt scared after the whole ordeal with my dad.

I forced myself on the couch and turned on the television. It was on the news channel. The reporter was blabbing on sports. I channel surfed for a while until settling on some show that was supposed to be funny. I kept it in that while I made macroni and cheese.

As the water boiled I kept a lookout for any intruders and Finch even though I'm guessing he was just out running errands.

I sat on the couch attempting to watch the painfully unfunny show while I are boiling hot macroni and cheese. A little while later the door opened. I jumped up and grabbed a large kitchen knife.

It was Shaw coming into where I was. I quickly put the knife away before she could see and headed back to the couch.

"What's with the knife?" Crap she saw.

"I thought you were an intruder" I mumbled.

"Well I'm not. Is everything alright Kiley? Did something bad happen over the weekend?"

"I was in a psych ward over the weekend does that count?"

"I guess it does, but...."

"But what?"

"Nothing" Shaw said quickly. "Everyone else should be. Ack in a few minutes." Shaw left quickly. I knew she was hiding something from me.

I would find out what it was ASAP.
