3 days passed after that incident where Asher, her intruder walk out and that was their last meet up. She tried to search him on the bar he used to drink but she found no one, not even his shadow. She asked the bar tender but he said it's been 3 days also that Asher never show up in that bar and until know, she still don't have a man who can help her with her novel. She thought it could be Asher, but he's missing in action right at the moment.
Out of desperation, she opened her laptop and search for ways on how to deal with "writer's block" without having a boyfriend. She waited seconds before Google show her the ways and the most convenient way is to...(Go to a place where you can relax your mind. A peaceful and less crowded place.) She smiled after reading it and decided to go to her place, the Enchanted Garden since It's been since she last went there with Hyuna.
She grabbed her bag full of gadgets and snacks and then went outside to get a taxi.
She open her arms wide the moment she step outside the taxi. The taxi driver laugh at her cuteness before leaving her. "Enjoy your stay here ma'am," he said and Kendall smile as she wave her good bye.
She choose the spot where you can see the whole city and city lights at night, it's her favorite spot but as she's on her way to her spot her gaze landed at someone who looks like was about to commit suicide thru jumping off the cliff. She hurriedly ran towards the man and grab his shirt to prevent him from falling. She push him in the chair beside her and look at his face. She was surprise to see it's Asher.
"What the hell Asher? Are you going to kill yourself? Are you even thinking straight?!!" She shouted and punch his shoulder out of nervousness. What if he falls? He would surely die.
"I was about to, until you came." He said without emotions. She felt the shiver run down her spine.
"Gosh. You can easily say that words as if your life is just a game!!" She shouted at him again with frustration.
"Because it is. My life is a game and I want to quit. She leave me. Everyone leaves me." She was surprise when his voice crack and he started to cry. His sobs were so painful, it feels like his really in a deep full of painful sea and he needs help. She want to help, but would he let her?
She offered him her arms and he accepted it. He hug her as if she would leave. Too tight but she's comfortable. Minutes passed and he finally stop crying. It hurts seeing him cry and she doesn't know why. He sit properly beside her and didn't say anything. Silence took between them when she finally broke the silence.
"Would you mind if I'll ask you something?" Kendall ask carefully not to offend him. He just nodded his head and she take that as a yes.
"Kristal. Is she your girlfriend?" She asked with a close eyes. She's afraid she ask the wrong question.
"Yes. She's dead and it was because of me." His voice crack and she caressed his back helping him to calm.
"Go on. I'll listen." She said with a soft voice, still caressing his back.
"It was Sunday evening, when she asked me to meet her. Our relationship is slowly fading because we're both busy but despite of that I never stop loving her up until now. I know the reason behind that meet up even when she didn't say it, I know it already. I can feel it. She will ask a break up and because I'm so coward, I didn't show up. I don't want a break up. That night, we didn't break up because I lose her. I lose her and she will never come back. She died that night, hit and run. I'm a coward! I want to be with her that's why I need to die!" He scream and punch the tree behind him. She grab him and let him cry on her shoulder. She didn't know, he has a burden like this.
She look at the sky and whispered, "Please let me save him" and the soft wind caressed her face. She smiled before saying, "I'll take that as an answer Kristal."
