Kendall woke up with heavy heart. She doesn't know why. It's just don't feel right, something is wrong. She grab her phone and dial Asher's phone. She bit her nails while waiting Asher to pick up his phone.

"Come on Asher, please pick the phone." She mumbled, eyes getting watery.

Cannot be reach, please try again later.

The other line went dead and cold sweat slowly forming on her forehead. She's scared and she doesn't know why! She hurriedly got up and change clothes before grabbing her phone. She'll go find Asher. Minutes later and faith is playing with her. The traffic is endless, cars and other vehicles are not moving. Her finger tapping on her lap, cold sweat, trembling hands and abnormally beating of her heart they're not helping. Mix emotions, she doesn't know what to do anymore. Without thinking she give her bill on the driver and run until she found herself outside Asher's house, panting.

She take a deep breath countlessly before having strength to knock the door. No one answered. She twisted the door knob and luckily it wasn't locked. She slowly get in without a sound and her gaze roam around the house. It was hell. It's like someone abducted the place and ruin it. She held her breath before going upstairs, Asher's room. Something urge her to back out but she can't. She want to see Asher. She slowly twisted the knob and it opened as what she thought. Her eyes landed at the man she learned to love. Tears slowly fall as she watch him look so lost while watching his and Kristal's pictures all over his room. So, this is the reason why he doesn't want her to come inside his room.

"I see. Still her." She said before letting her sobs visible. Asher's head turn to her, shock was visible on his face.
She run away back to home and cried her heart out. She thought, she would save him. She thought they we're happy. She thought he's finally letting Kristal go.
"Kristal, I'm sorry. I didn't able to save him." She silently mumbled and then cry over and over again.

She was awaken by a hard knock on her door. She tried to got up despite of her weak knees.
Teary eyes, swollen cheek, messy hair and clothes. That's the Asher she saw the moment she open the door. She want to run in his arms and stay with their forever, but she know she can't. Someone owns him and it's not her. It's hard to love someone who isn't done loving his past. She can't just own him and be selfish.

He's falling apart, she's falling apart with him.

Is this the end?

You look at each other and only see uncertainty. He threw hurtful words at her and she spit them back at him. Asher screamed, sweeping the table closest to him.  Everything crashed down on the floor including the frame that held the happiest moment of your 3 months relationship. Her hands tremble as she picked it up among the shards of glass.

"Kendall." Asher's voice lowered when he realized what he did.

"Is it all we're going to be? Are we at the end of the line? Is it enough Asher? I did everything." He flinched upon hearing her say those words. Asher was losing himself. He was never the same after hearing about the tragedy that ended his first love's life. She hated him for destroying himself like this but it hurts her the most because he was ruining himself for a woman who was not her.

Asher aimed his fists repeatedly at the dry wall, letting his knuckles bleed for the fault that he didn't commit. She couldn't watch more.

"Stop it!" She ran to him, wrapping her arms around his waist and resting her head on his back. "Stop hurting yourself Asher. Please. Just stop."

Luckily, Asher listened to her this time. He drop his fists to his side and crouched down on the floor. She sat down beside him. No words came from the both of them as she witness the shattered remains of their one sided love. Her love that she thought will save him. Everything the she owned was broken and shattered including her heart. Pieces of your memories together scattered across the floor.

"Why... Why are you being like this?" She started to cry again as she hit his chest weakly. "I just want you to be happy again. I just want you to love me as I love you." Asher embrace her tightly accepting every hit she throw at his chest because he deserved it.
He deserved every bit of it for hurting you, for not being able to let go of his past and just give all his love for her.

Asher rested his head on her, "can you trust me?"

She look up at his face her eyes, red from crying. He held her face using his bruised hand and repeated his question, "Can you trust me?"
She weren't sure what he meant but still, she gave him everything. "I trust you."

"Then let go." He told her.

"No." She held onto him "I need you Asher, please don't. I love you."

"You don't need someone like me." He said in a whisper, she felt his hands disappear from her back.
"I'm a wreck. I don't want to drag you down with me, Kendall. Believe me when I told you I love you. When you ask me yo be your boyfriend, I was happy to find a person who loved me better than I love myself. But I'm so broken right now Kendall. I can't return your love." He said with a sad tone. Kendall shakes her head before saying something.

"Don't worry about that. We can work it out-" she choke on her tears.

"Let go, Kendall." He took her arms off him. "Just trust me. I will come back and be the man that you deserve," was his last words before he leaves her heart broken into pieces.
