I went out with my cat
And found a black bat
Hanging on the tree under which I sat
Enjoying a picnic upon a door mat.
I took off my sun-protecting hat
And threw it at the diplomat
Who had conspired with the aristocrat
To cut the tree which served as the bat's habitat.
He fell to the ground
And it worked to astound
For it gave a chance to the hound
To snatch and bound
Across the field, for eternity
