I flipped Scorpius's egg over in the pan and scooted it over to the side. I wasn't very focused on how well I was cooking his egg, my mind was more focusing on my workout ahead of me that day. It was 5:45 in the morning and pitch black outside still. Although I needed to train, Scorpius could have slept in ut instead insisted on waking up early with me. As he read the daily prophet out loud to me.

"Mysterious Ministry Ball?," Scorpius said as he began reading the Rita Skeeter article, "Rumors seem to be spreading of an upcoming ball for the ministry, but we want to know ho all will be atten-"

I cut him off, "You really don't have to wake up this early just to say goodbye to me when I leave for my workout, Scor," I said as I spread strawberry jam over his toast.

Though I wasn't looking, I could tell Scorpius was smirking at me, "I know, but I love being around you... And this way I don't have to make my own breakfast," he said.

I rolled my eyes,"I'll make sure to spit in it for you," I said as I put the toast and egg on a plate.

Before I could turn around to give him his plate his arms we pining me against the counter, "you wouldn't," he whispered in a husky voice beside my ear.

My back was warm from the contact of his chest as my arms became coved in goosebumps from his words. I smirked looking at the plate of food in my hands, "Oh really?' I countered.

If it was possible, Scorpius pressed his front closer to me as he slid his hand up my left arm leaving a trail of tingles. He then placed his fingers on my collarbone and slid the hair that had fallen over my shoulder to the right side of my neck and rendered me paralyzed. Scorpius ben this head down and spoke against the bare side of my neck right under my ear, "No," I could feel his lips turn up into a smirk, "you love me too much to do such a thing."

I put the plate down on the counter and spun around in his arms so I was now facing him. I bit my lip as I looked up at him, "Do I now?"

Scorpius chuckled, "you're cheeky today, Lil's... I like it."

His words sent shivers down my spine and a rush of heat toward my core.

I knew what he was trying to do, it's not like he hasn't done this before to me. He was quite persuasive in his methods of keeping me home instead of going to train. It had been four years since I graduated from Hogwarts and six since he had, making me 21 and him 23. I moved in with him almost immediately. Scorpius had wanted to keep our relationship chaste until I graduated, which I greatly appreciated because it made our first time almost ten times more special.

I was pressed between Scorpius and our front door within seconds of entering our flat. He took the clutch I had out of my hands and threw it down on the couch, "Damn, lily," he groaned. He slid his hands up the back of my thighs and picked me up only to throw me over his shoulder, my hair falling in front of my face as I giggled.

"Scorpius what are you doing?" I asked through small laughs. I had told him earlier that night on our date that tonight I wanted to finally do it and I assume that kept his thoughts occupied for the rest of the night.

Scorpius made his way to the bedroom, "Lily, do you still want to do this?" he asked as he gently laid me down on our bed.

I bit my lip and nodded, "mhm..." I mumbled as my skin felt cold from the absence of his skin against mine. I couldn't trust myself to speak right now.
