Skylar POV
"Baby wake up, we here" I heard Rakim say while gently shaking me
I looked around and saw that we were in front of a high rise condo. I unbuckled my seat belt and grabbed my backpack then got out.
"14th floor Rocky " Yams said then they headed up
"Aight here we come. "
He then stood on front of me and just looked at me
"What? " I asked
"You ok? I know its your birthday and I haven't made it feel much like one. " He stated
"Yea I'm fine. You've made this a great birthday."
"You sure. I can make it up to you" He said wiggling his eyebrows and biting his lip
I just burst into laughter and pulled his hand, walking inside of the building. We got into the elevator and I hit the 14th floor. We made it to the floor and got off the elevator
"What's his room number? "
"B12" He answered
"Oh here it is" I said then jogged to the door and knocked loudly
The door swung open and Carti took one glimpse at me and pulled me into a strong hug.
"Heeey! It's so good to see you" I said to him
"Damn it feels like I ain't seen you in a long time. " He said to me
"Wassup Carti" Rakim said emerging behind me
Carti then let me go and greeted Rakim
"Wassup Rocky. Thank you for coming and bringing her"
"No problem my man "
"Y'all come in" Carti said letting us in
We walked inside and it was like a little party. There was music playing, smoke was everywhere and they were talking loud.
"Wassup y'all" Rakim said then went in to dap everybody
I felt someone grabbed my hand. It was Carti
" Come on, I need to talk to you"
"Don't I know it" I said more to myself then him
He walked me to a room and shut the door behind him
"Look before you start I just want to say I'm sorry. It just happened ok? I didn't mean to tell him.. " I explained
"Sky it's cool. He was gonna find out anyway- I ain't mad at you" He said smiling at me
I let out a sigh of relief and gave him a hug
"I'm so glad you're not mad at me. "
He then looked at me and leaned in, kissing me.
I quickly jumped and moved away
