(Y/N)'s POV

I handed Katie her chocolate ice cream and she mouthed a "thanks" I sat down next to her and started eating my (F/F) (favorite flavor) ice cream. It's been two weeks ever since I left my 'friends' at that PokeCenter and I tell you, life's been going great for me. The girl who betrayed me was now my best friend and my best friends was now my enemy.

"Hey, do you ever wonder about your friends anymore?" Katie asked as she licked her chocolate ice cream. Once I heard 'your friends', I instantly felt anger bubble inside me.

"No. I don't care about them anymore," I simply replied, licking my ice cream as well. "They're not my friends anymore."

"Oh.. ok then..." she quietly said. An awkward silence fell upon us when Katie spoke again.

"Hey (Y/N)..." She began.

"Hmm?"

She suddenly pulled out a worn out braclet. Its once amazing rainbow beads was now gray and lifeless. Some of its beads was missing and it was clear that it had been made a very long time ago.

"Do you remember this?" She asked, but her normal sweet tone was replaced with a demanding and cold voice.

I gulped nervously, I knew the answer, but I couldn't make any words out. I stared at it wide-eyed while she looked at me with a smirk. That bracelet...

Was Flaires'.

Katie's younger sister.

Who was dead.

"Y-y-y-you... kept... t-that..?" I trembled in fear.

"Of course I did, idiot! This was my sisters'! My sister that you murdered!" She snapped.

"No! No! I didn't!" I desperately attempted to defend myself.

"Yes, you did! You knew our house was on fire yet all you did was watch her burn alive instead of helping her!" She stood up from her seat and people gathered around us.

"No! I did! I did tried to help her! But.. but it was too late.." I looked down, feeling a pang of guilty over me.

"Because you were too slow!" She grabbed me by the my neck and suddenly it was hard too breath. I then realized what was happening. She was betraying me.. again.. and it was all of my fault.. like last time..

I should've listened to Bonnie. I should've listened to my friends. I should've trusted them. I should've have never forgiven Katie.

And now... it was all too late.

My vision started get blurry and I could see her shouting at me, but I couldn't hear her. I tried hard to breath but no matter what I do, I couldn't. My vision blurred before finally stepping into the darkness.

I'm sorry Clemont. I'm sorry Ash. I'm sorry Serena. I'm sorry Bonnie.. you were my friend... and I didn't trust you..

I'm.. I'm sorry.
