Kailen snickered at his sister who seemed to be irritated at the fact that she can't reach the cookie jar.
Fayette struggled to reach for the jar but with no luck. She turned around to see Kailen, already laughing at her silly attempts.
"Bubba," she frowned. Her purple eyes sparkling with unshed tears. Kailen immediately stopped laughing and went over to her. He squatted down to her height and cooed at her as she let her tears flow down.
"Aw, don't cry!"
Drake was beside them in a flash. His eyes narrowing to Kailen.
"What did you do?" He growled and picked her up.
"I didn't do anything! I swear!" Kailen exclaimed.
Fayette wrapped her arms around Drake. Her tears soaking his shirt.
"What did he do to you, little one?" He asked her gently.
She pulled away from his neck and looked at his eyes. "He got my cookies!"
Drake's angry eyes met Kailen's. "Seriously Kailen?"he bit out.
That sly little girl! Kailen thought.
"Hey I didn't even touch-"
"Enough!"Drake snarled and grabbed the cookie jar. He looked at their sister with a small smile.
"Here you go,"he tickled her face with his nose. She giggled and grabbed a cookie.
"Just call me when he does something bad to you, okay?"
"Okay,"she said with an innocent look.
"Kailen, you wait for the them." Drake said and started walking away to Fayette's room.
Fayette gave Kailen a small smirk of victory. She then stuck her tongue out.
"Hey! Did you see that?" Kailen yelled. Fayette munched on her cookie as Drake looked at her adoringly.
"All I see is her eating her cookie, now get outside!"
Kailen grumbled. "Or I'll soak you in Dragon's spit!"
He quickly went outside. He might be the older brother but Drake was scary when needed to be.
Drake kissed his sister's forehead as she smiled at him.

"Get changed to your uniform. Claire will be here to escort you to the training hall." Drake ordered.
Fayette beamed at him. She loved training.
"Dad's calling. I gotta go." He kissed the top of her head and went out.
Fayette changed to her uniform and waited for Claire.
She started training when she was four. They started giving her swords, knives, daggers and the like. They first thought that she was like her eldest brother, Kailen. A warrior fae.
Not all faeries were born as a warrior. Faeries are fast and strong. But a warrior born fae, they were deadly. They were equipped with the skills for killing. They could use any weapon and be perfect on using it. They could harness energy by aura of war, death. Once they reached the limit, they shift to their warrior form.
Armor that is almost indestructible protects their skin. Their senses would heighten. As this happen, a portal would open. In that was their weapon of their own personality.
They tried to test her like they tested Kailen but she couldn't handle a sword let alone a small dagger.
Then, they thought she was a dragon shifter. Drake tried to teach her to shift and while he shifter gracefully to his red scaled dragon, all little Fayette could do was curl in a ball and sleep as Drake carried her to her room.
A year ago, she fell down the stairs. She had bruises. Although faeries had the ability to heal, it was not as fast as when you're a child. But what they noticed was that Fayette healed after a few seconds. It wad then that they learned she was a healer.
A healer does not only heal but has the power of the shield and telekinesis. It was rare to find a healer when they have been extinct a long time ago but then again their mother was a descendant of healers.
So her mother trained her. Fayette only learned to heal and to put up her shield and once she got the hang of it, she would then learn telekinesis.
Claire knocked on her door then opened it. " Fayette, let's go?"
Fayette beamed at her and skipped to her as they went to the training hall where the Queen of Faes was in.

Drake was seated with Kailen beside him.
Alexander Kings. A dangerous vampire, the vampire king who almost lost his mind in finding his mate. He looked and looked but found nothing. So he shut he did what he had to to hid the pain, he put on his best mask. A mask where a he would smile and joke along like he had never gone crazy.
Orion Blaze. Just what the name is, Son of fire. A leader of the witch clan. He has brown hair and flame like eyes. You'd be vulnerable if you look into it, his eyes. Five seconds is all he needs to burn your happiness and leave you to be a shell of what you used to be. That's a perk of being a Blaze. One of the most powerful bloodline of witches.
There was one missing from the three.
Kailen sighed as he stood up. "Where is that wolf?"
"Probably shagged some girl," Orion laughed. He was always the calmest and the most humorous of the the five, even if he was the eldest king.
"Probably so," Alexander smirked.
Drake and Kailen just shook their heads at the two. So much for being the youngest.
'The wolf is here' a guard mind linked Kailen.
"He's here," he announced.
"I'll go get him," Drake said and left.
He went down the staircase to the main entrance. On the way there, he saw his little sister training. He grinned at her.
She was trying to keep her scent inside her shield. Queen Rhyannon looked at her with pride.
"You're doing great, Fayette." Drake said.
Fayette's shield wavered a little as she looked up at him. The Queen looked at her son annoyed, "Distract her again and I'll whack your head!"
Drake yelped and briskly walked away. His mom was scary when she wanted to be, after all she was the warrior queen.
The door opened.
Apollo Zion Romanov. The lycan king, one of the strongest creatures of the land. His black hair glinted in the light, his silver eyes looked dull and cold. He was tall, maybe even taller than Drake or even Kailen. He looked dark even if he had light features, dangerous.
"Shall we?" Drake asked. The wolf just nodded and followed his ally to the conference room.
