MY ANA
The Cid

She is a demoiselle.
A pretty simple demoiselle,
Fresh from the anguish
Of her regretful yesterday.

She stepped into this certain world,
Trying to eradicate the scar
That was left by an outsider
Inside her heart.

The entire world was precious,
Filled with beings
That were mysterious.
The demoiselle then
Met this maiden,
A maiden named Analyn.

She stood up,
Acquainting the maiden
With her existence.
Beholding her
Admirable mien,
She tripped.

My Ana,
It's ridiculous how
Our hearts collided.
At an earlier time,
These were all one-sided,
My Ana.

All the demoiselle
Could ever fantasize
Was the maiden's appellation,
But their world, including its folks
Were concentrating on lies,
On selfishness, on eroticism,
And heartbreak.

My Ana,
We have to settle!
We have to get ourselves
Out of this world,
Far away from its
Judgmental society.

Are you willing to
Come with me,
My Ana?

Waiting for
The maiden's conclusion,
The demoiselle was queasy.
But the maiden held
Her hand carefully and said,
"Take me anywhere.
I am willing to come with you."

To the midpoint of
Your world and their world,
The demoiselle and the maiden
Dropped out of sight.
And their feet...
Their bare feet took them
To another world,
All of a sudden.

A world where
We truly belong,
My Ana.

A world that was made
Only for you and me.
A world where
We are meant to live
And continue our love story...

But I soon refused to be with you
In that world so I absconded.

Right after the heavy rain,
The demoiselle was aroused
By the thunderclap.
She covered her body
With a comforter,
Full of liquid molecules
From her eyes.

My Ana, my maiden, my dream,
Why didn't you stop me
From waking up?
