"Don't worry guys; the cops didn't get us this time," Jack said as he helped me out of the trunk. I turned around to see my house. "Why are we here?" I ask my mother confused. "Didn't Isla tell you? The boys will be staying with us for the next month or so." I was genuinely shocked at his statement. Having Jack under the same roof is as hard enough, never mind four more people to keep me up at night. This is going to be a tough month or so. "Where are they going to be sleeping?" I have so many questions just hoping it doesn't sound too needy or anything. Wait why do I care again? Oh yeah, I don't. "Isla was supposed to tell you everything, but it seems like the little girl didn't do what she was told." My
Mom scolded her. Not in a mean way but good enough for her to apologize which is an accomplishment by itself. "Whatever, I'll just see it when they're set up wherever they'll be." I say and walk into the house heading straight to my room.About ten minutes pass when I hear a knock on the door. "Hey, can I come in?" The familiar voice of the one and only Zach on the other side of this door. "Sure." I reply and before anything else I see a struggling Zach with three decently big suitcases lined all around him trying to get through my door. "Heyyy roomie." Is all he can get out before going back to panting, apparently Zach and I have been roomed together. Wonder why, "so why are you roomed with me and not anyone else?" I ask. The look in his eyes shows hurt and offense yet I quickly add onto my question with "not that it's a bad thing. I mean rooming with you is awesome and I wouldn't want someone like Jack, I mean how about you room with your band mates. I'll share a room with Isla or some--" I got cut off by the laughter of Zach causing me to be even more utterly confused more than I already was. "You really like to over think things don't ya?" Zach says in between giggles. "I guess so." As my usual nature would be saying to try as force a conversation here, it just felt natural and to my surprise, I liked it. "I think we're going to be good friends Paige." Zach exclaimed sounding genuine to his words. "Yeah. Me too."
After a long forty-five minutes of figuring out where Zach will sleep and put all his stuff. I remembered I had a pull out bed right underneath mine so he could sleep there. But the hardest thing to get set up was the fact that his hair products took up half of my bathroom counter space. We made it work in the end; it did get a small giggle out of how much he does for that perfect hair of his.
It's was finally time for bed, well it was eight thirty so I usually go to bed at this time. I say goodnight to the boys and hug Jack before heading back upstairs. I crash on to my bed making me fall asleep seconds later. I felt pretty dazed when I felt something wrap around me, Being to tired to do anything I just let it happen. I tried to look around to see who was doing this but it was just to dark so I gave up and just started drifting back to my sleep, before I did I heard one word; "you." It was a raspy voice but something not familiar to me.
As I woke up, I completely forgot about the boys and how they're living here. So as I got out of my bed and stepped onto Zahs arm. Suddenly he jumps up scaring myself more than it scarred me. "Oh my god Zach!" I half scream trying to make sure only Zach could hear me. After minutes of gifting how to get ready in the same room, we waddled our way downstairs only to be surprised with everyone in either the kitchen or living room. "Morning Paigey, I'm making waffles." Mom said, she knows I'm not really find of waffles I'm more of a pancake gal. But because jack loves hem and since he's only just back we're going to have those.
As we all sat at the dining table, it felt kind of awkward being here. I mean jack seems pretty comfortable, but I just sat there quietly listening to the boy's conversations. Suddenly all the guys went into a mini huddle and whispered making it almost impossible to me or anyone else to hear, "One, Two."
"THREE!" Zach screamed causing me to jump so high I fell off my chair. "Oh my god Paige! Are you okay?" Jack worriedly said.
"Yeah, I'm ok. Don't worry jack."
As Jack the over protective brother he is, decided to lay me down on the couch to let me "heal""Seriously guys, I'm fine." I say hoping they'll see how un-needed this whole thing was. Luckily they had a meeting to get to so I had my chance for escape. All I did was run up to my room but that was my happy place, I unlocked my phone and started looking through my Instagram feed when I noticed how many new followers I was getting by the minute.
100.
200
500
1000Wow is all I could think at the moment, I'd only recently before this explosion had 76 followers and now more than tripled. So as I sat on my bed watching my followers go up each time I refreshed, I hadn't seen someone walk into the room. I "Boo!" Zach said as he grabbed onto both of my shoulders. "Holy crap Zach! You know you could've killed me!" I'm obviously over exasperating but he got the point. "Jeez I'm sorry Paige. JuSt KiLl Me NoW." He responded sarcastically. I laughed it off and not long after he joined. We just had about three minutes of just pure happiness with each other without even speaking and that was an amazing feeling.
