Once we got our drinks, Suhani and I headed to the outside ring of tables by the Starbucks. Once we were seated Suhani glared into my eyes. She seemed interested in something, but I wasn't sure what right now.
"so, what happened to you and Zach?" Suhani seemed giddy about the whole ordeal, and it just made me sad. I sighed and told her the entire story, as I was going on with it her face slowly turned into a saad facial expression similar to mine. When right after I said the last few words she became happy again. "Paige, you're in love cant you see that?" I was utterly in shock. That's impossible, I don't even know what love is at this age and to think after explaining my story to Suhani she might empathize with me. Guess not, she kept on ranting about how I was just running away from the best thing that may ever happen to me and blah blah blah. May I mention she has forgotten about my 'brother' who now hates me because of this supposed 'love.'
Once Suhani started getting boring, I zoned out of her lecture and sipped my frappe in concentration. Was this love? Why did he hesitate if she's saying its meant to be? Did he ever like me in the first place? All these questions floated around n my head until Suhani smacked the back of my head because she noticed I wasn't paying attention to her.
"did you hear any of the valuable information I just gave you?"
"uhm, no?"
She scoffed and got up towards the car, apparently overreacting. I giggled as I followed her to the car and we drove back to the house only to arrive to see the boys still huddled up in the same spot they were earlier. I rolled my eyes at their idiocy and walked. No, stomped upstairs to catch their attention. I could feel all their eyes on me; I felt proud to think that I was the bigger person in this situation, or so I thought.
As I got to my room, there was a knock at the door.
