Zach's Pov

I was in complete shock; my legs glued to the ground unable to even think at this point. Paige's fists were clenched as I saw the slightest of hesitation in her body. I couldn't take this anymore; I stepped up, slowly the others made small gasps, Aspen chuckled as she saw I was the one to volunteer, Paige gripped my hand I looked back at her sympathetically as I shrugged her off. A tear slipped down her cheek as I knew this was the last time I would ever see her again.

"aha, never thought my baby Zach would be the one to die," Aspen chuckled, enraging me. She gripped only my wrist and pulled me away, behind the car with a gun in her hand.

Paige's Pov

BANG!

The sound echoed in the silent air; this was it Zach was gone. Only minutes later did Aspen drive off in her car leaving just a pool of blood where Zach died. I fell to my knees, Daniel wrapping his arms around me for comfort; soon the rest of the boys were also around us in one big group hug.

"what are we going to tell the fans?" Jack questioned in-between cries. I only shook my head.

"It's too early for that, right now we need to take a break from social media and be with each other," the rest of them all nodded in agreement as we slowly made our way out of the parking garage.

Once we all arrived home not a single person talked, we all only headed to our bedrooms in silence. I crashed onto my bed, not letting a single tear fall onto my cheek, but I kept everything inside. Reaching for my phone, I knew this was the only way I could get over Zach. I dialled my mother's number and called her asking if I could go home. She gladly said yes, and I got to packing.

"Jack, I'm going home," I whispered. Jack looked up at me; his face was tear-stained and broken, I couldn't look at my brother; He is usually so happy and smiling, now I felt as if this was ultimately my fault.

"I, as your brother am coming with you," he blankly stated. I nodded and went back to my room still emotionless. Packing my bag felt off, I could no longer hear the laugh of Zach in the background making fun of the way my hair looked and then directly after apologizing and saying I was beautiful. I could no longer see his gorgeous smile when I walk into the room or hear the soothing melody of his voice as he sang.

Once everything was placed neatly into bags it was about nine pm. My eyes were nearly staying open as I headed to Zach's room for a bed, I crawled into the sheets which smelled of his cologne. Usually he would wrap his arm around me and I would fall asleep to his small snores that escaped his mouth; not anymore. As the night grew longer, I wasn't able to fall asleep. I grabbed Zach's red hoodie, the one I stole from him back when we didn't know what we were and headed back onto the roof.

A few minutes later Jack was the person to find me up in the roof huddled into a ball looking up at the stars he wrapped his arms around me pulling me closer towards him.
