Finally arriving back home from this somewhat eventful day, I say my goodbyes to Suhani and flop onto my bed while re-thinking the whole day, considering what I could've done to make my life less miserable. I know what is done is done, but when it comes to my mistakes, I just love imagining what a perfect day could've been. I decide to start being productive and get all of my homework out for the day. I turn on some hip hop and just chill while studying. The seconds of serenity I had is suddenly interrupted by the loud screams coming from Isla, stomping up the stairs, barging, once again, into my room. "PAIGE!" She screams probably loud enough to burst my eardrums. "ARE YOU COMING TO THE AIRPORT OR NOT? MOM SAID TO GET YOU NOW!" She says completely confusing me, "Why are we going to the airport?" I ask in a voice that's quiet compared to hers. She sighs and decides not to tell me and instead dragged me downstairs to the car.

I, being the awkward and quiet person I am, decide not to say anything even though I could be driving to the airport right at this moment to be shipped off to Siberia. Unlikely yet completely understandable. It took at least forty five minutes to drive all the way down to the airport, and still as confused as ever I walk out and see we're in the "pick-up zone." As I'm waiting for whatever we're waiting for, I could hear giggles coming from the two seats beside me. Isla and my mom, what a surprise. They are honestly so close that I can't even explain their relationship; Just like me and Jack's relationship.

Wait. Jack? Airport? No freaking way we're waiting for him here! Not possible, he's on tour with his band right now. Right? I haven't kept in touch with Jack ever since he left for L.A, never mind ask him where his next stop on tour is or anything of the sort. Here I am wondering if I will get to see my brother after eight months of his new life. "Jack?" I say. My mom knows what I'm thinking. "Yes."
